@@joebone3151 facts on my ps4 I kept breaking all my controllers and my USB port broke in one so I couldn’t charge it so I would use a broken controller with a working USB port charge the battery then take it out and put it in the working controller lmfao

I agree, however extreme rate sells controller shell cases that comes with the protective rings. Now my xbox controller is just as buttery smooth as my Duelsense, its awesome.

The only game i can think of that used the speaker on the wii controller was smash bros brawl when selecting characters, with extremely awful sounding quotes or sounds. The ps4 had a controller too but I dont remember a single game that used it (or didn't notice)

The Wii U Gamepad had decent speakers that could be used independent from the TV sound, but very few games used them like that. The only one that really comes to mind is Lego City Undercover, but I'm sure there were a few others.

@@dcmastermindfirst9418 have you tried Astros playroom? I did and I definitely felt the rain drops. If you didn't, your dualsense is probably malfunctioning. Of course you can't expect feeling a raindrop in games that don't use the dualsense APIs.

@@GurbetciLeben That depends on the game for me! I use both controllers on PC, and for 3D games I prefer the Xbox controller, because it’s easier to reach the left thumb stick for movement. Overall it’s the smaller controller too, so if I had to pick between the two, I’d pick the Xbox controller. But I like having the Dualsense for 2D games, since the d-pad is in a more comfortable spot for prolonged use

I recently tried a Astro's Playroom, and it is what I suspected. The rumble is not that different from any other controller. The sense of walking on different surfaces is almost purely the sounds from the controller.

Do you still like the Xbox controller? I’ve had my ps5 for 3 months and I’ve developed nerve pain in my right hand because of the controller and I was too stubborn to sell my ps5 since all my friends are on ps5 and I’ve owned all previous PlayStations

He is so wrong it's not even funny. Dualsense haptic feedback is stronger, and offees a far wider range of sensations and tactile feedback over the joycons. I was blown away by the dualsense, where as I was dissapointed with the joycon HD rumble when I got my switch.

@@RicochetForce Yeah. I haven't used the DualSense myself so I can't say much about that. I guess the only thing not to love about the DualSense so far is the lack of in-game button symbols for the Sony controllers? At least when I still used my DS4 controller on PC I remember a few rare games would show the correct button prompts but come on it should be all of them by now. Game devs get with the time please. I don't know about the DualSense's battery life either? Sony should offer good PC drivers too just like Nintendo. And do they offer a good wireless dongle for W10 support? I think that is important because BT support has always been an issue on Windows. Many dongles don't work very well, or don't support certain controllers. Good to hear that DS4Windows were quick on the draw. I ordered myself an Xbox series X controller for now because of its native support and I know 100% it will work wireless but I think DualSense makes... perfect sense too.

there is a way to use haptic feedback as well but for that you need to use it wired

@@armorking481 depends on the game. There are games where you change the prompt buttons within the in game settings. Also, if you're playing a steam game, and connect the dual sense via USB.. then steam loads up the official PS5 controller config and your games will use Sony button prompts

It will most definitely work with ds4 application you can still use your dual sense controller for your cracked games via the app. The game may or may not have a setting for Sony button prompts. You may also try adding the game as a non steam game to your library then open it via big picture mode

Except it's not at all the same thing if you have a dualsense you know damn well it's better than the joycon rumble. The same company that made the joycon rumble made the dualsense haptics. And it's better.

Yes, the problem is that since the controller is much bigger than the JoyCon, it doesn't feel the same.

The Joycons and the Pro controller just like the Steam controller have linear resonance actuator or LRA haptic feedback technology whereas the DualSense uses voice coil actuators haptic feedback technology which are significantly bigger in size than the LRA in the switch pro controller as that explains the much stronger feedback. The Joycons being very small in size do not have this problem.

I don't blame him, barely any games have HD Rumble on the Dual-Joycon/Pro controller setup.

My 5yr old son has actually played more then me of astro lol I finally got to play cold war for first time tonight, bit Ghost of tsushima looks amazing on 4k. If you haven't got a system yet wish you best of luck getting one. It took me so many tries to snag one. It is possible to get off walmart just keep trying. And if you have one in car and it's just loading on you ala spinning in circle just let it alone and don't touch anything that's what I did.

@Hy Gaming because touchpad took over select, since select was taken over by the most useless button ever = share. it's already second generation of touchpad, almost 10 years since its inception and there is barely any (if any at all) real, super futuristic, cool and zoomery features that it can be used for. i found it inconsistent and pretty much completely useless. it can be used as a mouse or a cursor atleast on pc, but why would i.

@@ReviewedByAndy I've had no issues with my series x controller as of yet since launch day. Either way for drift issues i used WD-40 to fix it.

@@July9326 they all use the same company for joysticks. They all have the chance of drift issues. You hear about it more for playstation because there are more people using them compared to xbox

I use a wired Razer Wolverine Ultimate controller for my One X and my right hand cramps up sooo f’n bad. My right hand is favored by like roughly 80% which if we’re talking about competitive play for hours REALLY gets to ya. I do hand and wrist exercises + stretches leading up to the forearm bc it’s so bad -- ALWAYS BUY A CONTROLLER THAT IS COMFORTABLE. A LOT OF RU-vid REVIEWS DON’T DO JUSTICE IN TALKING ENOUGH ABOUT THAT!

Exact opposite here, I love how the Xbox controllers feel (love my elite 1, and how the new series controllers feel I can't wait for the elite version of that style, definitely buying that) and when I grabbed the dual sense, I felt I had to stretch my thumbs farther out than I do with my Xbox one and out more strain in it, as well with all the shape buttons being spaced out farther away from each other so I have to "move" it over rather than a shift or roll over to the buttons. I think the dual sense is far better than the dual shock though, far more comfortable and premium feeling than all previous versions and I feel content with the dual sense feel this time around. Funny how controller ergonomic designs vary so much between people but that's the nature of it lol

i love the replaceable battery pack (or rechargeabe AA batteries $5). Why woould want to throw out a controller after the batteries go bad, never understood that line of thinking......

@@srobeck77 Well you can still have a changeable batteries support and include the battery pack with the controller like 8bitdo sn30 pro + did for a cheaper price, and motion controls. I don't think asking for an included battery pack for the price they are asking is too much nor does should that take away the ability to use changeable batteries.

@@290798166037336473 the Xbox controller is already the best we’ve seen in terms of feel comfort and gameplay. As of right now even with all the technology in the dualsense most games will feel the same as if you playing Xbox anyway. In the future we’ll have to see if the technology is used or it will be like the touch pad or the Xbox ones adaptive triggers

As a PC gamer when Im forced to use a controller, rumble is always the first feature I turn off, its a gimmick.

@@advanceddarkness3 I prefer having rumble on. It's not a gimmick to me, especially since it's been around for decades. If no one liked it, it would be gone just like 3D TVs were. That's what you call a gimmick right there. But that's why there's an the option to turn rumble off if you don't like it 🤷‍♂️. To each their own.

Definitely agree. I don't have the dualsense to check, but the switches could easily trigger before bottoming out. I doubt this test settles anything either way as far as latency is concerned.

I disagree. If it's the same software then it's just waiting until a trigger is activated, even if that's at 1%. It shouldn't change just because it's a different controller since it's reading for a very similar input

@@kovo3314 what If the software doesn't know the difference between 1% and 100%, then it can definitely be triggering at 1% instead of waiting for the full 100%. I even looked for a teardown of the adaptive triggers, and they use pressure sensors instead of regular buttons. So the early trigger with a small amount of pressure is definitely possible.

Yeah its unnoticeable for allmost everyone, but its huge for competitive scene

I know if I switch from something with low latency to something with high latency, I'll notice it at first, but eventually I'll get used to it. It really doesn't matter in any sense, just cus once a timing is wired into your brain you would have to consciously make up for it any more. One person could be used to 20 Ms of latency, and another can be used to 50 Ms of latency. They'll just do the same thing (say pull a trigger) at slightly different times. Overall, it doesn't matter, even in a pro sense ( to a point, Obv if it's like 50 Ms of latency, they won't use it, but if the difference is 7 Ms or 12 Ms, I don't think it'd matter much.)

Ive never had an Xbox until now with the series x but when i look at the series x controller vs the xbox one controller it is noticeably slimmer. The new d-pad is amazing too. The added grips are nice. Xbox improved upon the old design. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. I can’t go back to my DS4 and its been only 8 days since I got my Series X. Dualsense looks cool and respects to sony. I decided to switch it up this time.

@@j.echevarria8630 I’d never choose an Xbox controller over the DualSense which has actual trigger resistance and can simulate shooting a gun or a gun jamming by blocking the triggers. Not to mention it’s haptic feedback. DualSense is much more immersive in every way.
