Weapons are always a test of the player, with the game being the reward. There’s fire firing, slow firing, accurate, and a mishmash of the two. Every weapon has a voice, behavior and talent with their own strengths and weaknesses. Not only that, but these weapons also test the player’s understanding of maps, positioning, patience, reaction, awareness, and secondary understanding as-well. Once you steadily understand a weapon you should also understand the game. By pre-buying a weapon at a low rank, not only are you skipping the many valuable lessons from the weapons below it, you don’t understand the weapons traits nor does it feel rewarding when you obtain it. I hope this helps!
Yea adding on to what you have already said I feel like the people who pre buy stuff like the bfg hk416 and other high rank sweaty guns are either to bothers to grind or they feel like they won't be good with the guns they already have at their disposal
This is true too if you try to do a n amount of kills in a gun, you'll discover a lot. I'm currently doing a 100 kills on rank 50 and below guns, and I discover - mostly on the primaries - that there are guns that people might've overlooked because it's either mediocre for them(FAMAS F1 or K-2), firing method isn't their cup of tea(M16A4, M4, DMRs), or the gun is too bad but good for a certain scenario only like CQC(MAC10). So yeah, the pre-buyers got the short end of the stick if they're just going to play PF like it's a point-and-click game
I turned my M60 into the TF2 mini gun Sasha and I play it like the heavy. Walking slowly forward and just taking the bullets. No jumping, diving, laying down. You just walk forward and take the shots. The build: Remove Stock, Armor Rounds, Chainsaw Grip, and a Loudener. Light gray color skin (from a starter crate) for the hand guard. No skin on the body and barrel.
I personally like the fal 50.00 more then the m14. I feel like the recoil on the fal is much more controllable then the m14. Btw nice video idea, really liked the video.
Even if the Zip-22 is bad, it's not that it doesn't have some genuine redeeming qualities like a consistent 3 headshot kill at all ranges, being able to fire as fast as you can pull the trigger, a fast reload, having very little recoil and having so much reserve ammunition that you'd have to try to run out of ammo with it. Sounds to me like it'd be a pocket dmr in the right hands.
With reasonable players being able to outrun a cougar, jump behind you and aim for your head in a split second, i dont think you can land 3 headshots consecutively
@@tacokoer7821the sfg with 17 has 4k muzzle velocity and removes its aim choke entirely while also having better reload speed than the Sass. Its only downsides over the sass is that it has 0 penetration (this is not a joke btw try it in the test place)
@@bruddaincognitomode3513 Problem being that you have to pay a hefty sum in order to get that 4000 velocity on the sfg. While the stock sass gets 3000 velocity.
@@tacokoer7821 the sass is insainly high rank while the sfg is a mid rank gun that requires 3k which is an insane amount still but its better than paying something thats 10k more or less. That given reason is only good for high ranks who can buy it cheap or already have it but high ranks already have allot of long range secondaries unlike mid ranks with only the L5, SFG 17, and G40. And if they are high rank enough they most likely have enough money to buy the 17 in the sfg
I think the gimmick and trend that PF has is typically along the lines of: "The higher the level, the quirkier the gun." Emphasis on "Typically", as there are obvious outliers to the rule, but with each category the highest unlock seems to be the goofiest. You have the stupid high rank of the Can Cannon, the NTW, the G11, all weapons that are functionally simple but very unique in concept, whereas the starter guns are always base, true to class weapons.
Hey man I just wanted to say there is a bit of inconsistency with one of your choices. You didn't pick the Stoner LMG over the Colt because it forces you into a specific playstyle and you believe the colt is a more well-rounded weapon yet however you picked the NTW over the intervention even though the NTW literally forces you into a specific playstyle. Intervention for that reason would be a more well-rounded weapon as the base stats are not terrible. Just my opinion though, great video regardless
I undestand the game isn't pay to win, but it's just annoying how grindy it is. While the lower end guns are still really good, most of the interestingly designed and consequently fun guns to use are fairly high rank. I remember picking up the G11 of the ground one time and having tons of fun with it for that one life, and now I need to wait till I get to rank 211 or save up a pretty ridiculous ammount of credits to pre-buy it to try it again.
The thing is you take only the first and last weapon, and personally I think that a lot of last weapons are just memes ones, for this I think you should look more generally at the 0-20 weapons and the like 8 last weapons, I really think it can provide a better view of phantom forces weapons rank strength. I’m not English so sorry if a lot of errors are in my comment, love you :).
Really nice video idea! Imo many low level guns are powerful (intervention m4a1 colt lmg etc.)because that makes beginners easier to access to decent guns, which is definitaly great. However, higher level guns are more goofy but fun to use (ntw hk51b mgv etc.). Most importantly, many guns that are easier to use for beginners are unlocked at high level (m107 mg3kws usas). I guess thats why beginners try to prebuy high level guns while many pros still choose noob guns.
Imagine this in a Nutshell And also I wish they add back the 0 gravity game mode and make a new game mode where u can only use dodgeball and can only 1 shot + 500xp per kill
This makes me very happy to find someone who agrees with me, there is absolutely no bad guns in this game and I'm sick of other content creators saying there is
As someone who primarily uses Snipers and specifically the G36 (not C, not K, just normal G36 in the AR category) the "p2w" argument just makes me mad. Cause Intervention is genuinely one of the best snipers - good MV, low drop, fast, good pen, and you get basically just an older Inter via CheyTac. And that's right off the bat. Like, if I were to start a new account and only snipe, I would genuinely use the Intervention up until the point I get the M107 or (on CQC maps cause I don't have the patience to learn the stupid thing) Scout. And then the G36 is pretty low rank. Plus, it's not even an insane gun, just solid. I don't know why it is one of maybe half a dozen fullauto weapons that I don't suck at but it just is lol
In ranked, people often used the mp5 and aug a2/a3 Para for their great range and recoil. Not sure where the meta in ranked is nowadays but I believe it still includes a wide variety of high and low rank guns
2:15 good for close quarters but that’s it. Gotta slap a conversion on it to make it useable in any other situation. My favorite high rank pdw tho is probably the mp40.
Imo the intervention is still very good, and this is coming from a person who has consistently used the intervention for hundreds upon thousands of hours with it, seeing it nerfed into the ground over and over, and it will always be... my second favourite sniper
Ive gotta disagree with your take on the sassiest gun. With 3000 muzzle velocity it's basically hitscan and the sight is- chefs kiss- and the sound is 👌. Maybe for general use its not the best but for fun factor its so good. It one shots head all ranges irrc and one shots torso up to 40 studs or something i cant remember. I used to use it with the ntw chainsaw grip and short barrel. It was the funnest thing running around switching between one shot weapons then dipping and reloaded the sass and charging back in. Super fun and super satisfying getting headshots with it.
Sass 308 is basically a pocket sniper. Its muzzle velocity is so good that I’ve killed person at 600 studs without bt. I usually use shotguns/pdw with it and , which means I can use primary for cqc and use sass 308 to compensate the long range ability. Also you are right. It is not true that sass 308 can’t 1sk torso at close range. It still can 1sk at about 30~40 studs.
It's got about the same amount of sas as the girls in my school they give ya that look like everything you do is wrong bad and stupid. Breathing is no longer allowed at my school.
Honestly I've been enjoying an sl8. Ive got a set up with that gun that's pretty great and I've put gunn automatics at close range(somehow idk people's aim suck I guess)
I think this statement should about sum it up for anybody: The variety of guns is meant to find the one gun you are truly good at using based on your play style, no gun is bad, it is simply because you are bad at using it
The gun im really enjoying atm is the HK51B, i really recommend it, absolutely shreds and i personally think its more superior than the hk21e because of the faster reload and movement speed and higher damage although worse recoil but its fairly controllable, if you already have it i recommend reflex or kosaku sight, squad barrel, full stock and stubbt grip
Personally I think the usas12 requires good skill to use. Because sure that gun could delete anyone quickly but what will that do for you when you spray down a guy and 2 enemies walk around the corner with only 2 bullets left in your mag
Im rank 155 and most of my favourite guns still reside in the rank 30-50 range (SCAR-H my beloved). You are given the illusion that the high rank guns are good because its the experienced players who unlocked them and are using them.
heres a tip for revolver players, as i revolver main that has gotten alot of 100 kill games with only revolvers i recommend quick scoping with every revolver except for the rex, mateba, and the new army. the rest u quick scope. also remember to press the t button before using the new army
Decay winter gaming Also pso-1 scope is really good on the svd for quick scoping and also for extended periods of time cuz it has very little sway even with skeleton grip and no hold breath and point firing lads on dunes with the svd and getting headshots is really fun
when I started playing pf 6 months ago I thought the game was so pay 2 win, so I decided to play with snipers. Now I can't play cod since they're all using the same weapon. I really love how in pf you can use the gun you want and will work. I would like the game to be a little more monetized I feel like the devs aren't making too much profit LOL
my no recoil set up: MP5/10 with coyote , ars , hera cqr, blue laser and 40 s&w its not completely no recoil but it has good enough recoil to get the job done.
honestly, when you unlock the r700 I just use skeleton grip r700 iron sights any laser, and no barrel but if you want to instill fear use the loudener. no use but this setup will make you a low rank menace
I mean i use any gun that calls to me (hens why all my primary weapons have over 100+ kills) and I enjoy it some guns I’ve found are gonna be way more notorious than others on that map but that doesn’t mean you can’t learn to use on any map
yo hello funny man i have (what i think might be) a good video idea: phantom forces but you have to use what you have use what you have most recently unlocked until you level up and unlock a new gun, rinse and repeat this would be starting at a new account (level 0)
The KSG reminds me of when I used to blatant cheat, flying around at super speed with aimbot or silent aim and no recoil or bullet spread with a full auto KSG was fun.
when people say PF is p2w they mean because the weapons from ranks 30-80 are the best in the game, the very last weapon unlocks are often just memes whereas the midgame weapons are the most useful and OP
Pls compare those two to the mid ranked guns, i want to hear your opinion about most of them since i have my own opinion (i keep it all for myself since i know internet doesnt like opinions!!!)
The M4A1 is a decent starter gun, but in my opinion you shouldn't use it on longer-ranged maps. I tried it on a longer-ranged map and it didn't do so great. Use it on maps where you can quickly kill some enemies close-range. And the recoil is kinda controllable, but with a better setup, I guess it depends.
