COMPARING SLOTTED FLOOR WITH DIRT OR CONCRETE FOR REARING GOAT AND SHEEP 

I will explain to you why slotted floors are far better than concrete, concrete also absorbs the urine which causes the pen to have a high smell fresh air and hygiene is compromise.
To use concrete or dirt floor pen takes a lot more space because you have to spread out as higher density cannot be achieve.
You have to clean the floor maybe twice a day to keep the pen clean.
You don't want the animals to walking up and down and feeding on a contaminated floor .
