My old one I bought a few years back died. I got a cigarette adapter and wired it up so I only use the air pump. Just upgraded, It has saved me more than the price of buying it every few years.
Bought a 4 in 1. Got it home, pieces broken off of it. Brought it back and got another one. Wouldn't take a charge or anything. Brought it back and got another one. This one looked like it got thrown down a flight of stairs. Broken all over. Took it back and got my money back.
That’s a great idea, unfortunately these charge with 110 V AC current. I have the exact same thought when I bought it. I did however buy an inverter that converts the cigarette lighter to 110 V AC current. With the adapter I was able to charge it through the cigarette lighter while I was driving. I bought that inverter I think it was about $25. Hope this helps.
@@livefree6878 , Could you please recommend an inexpensive invertor? Also, just checking, but isn't the cigg lighter fused at 180? Have you had any problems with this blowing out your lighter when you plug this in ? I am not very mechanically inclined as I am sure you can tell from my question. LOL!!
I just got one for my birthday a few weeks ago since my car has been leaving me stranded so many times I had a question it says that you only need to charge it every so often but mine brand new off the box I charged it like instructed every time I use it I have to charge it immediately or else I won’t have enough battery to jump my car could that be my car draining it so much or? also it seems to always stay on even in the off position the battery light is on, I have been trying to research if that’s supposed to happen but being stranded once again my phone is dieing, just charged the jump pack again over night since I used it yesterday, and its already reading red
Depends on mow well you care for it. Its been know can last long as 10 years Its key to never let it run completely down. #1 #2 check charge on it least once a month. #3 top off charge after use. These three things will help battery last much longer

I charged it till the light indicated it was charged but when I tried it on my car I got 1 second of life, (from my car) and then not even so much as a click. No lights not a thing. The battery and alternator are both less than one year old but I haven't started my car in 2 weeks because of the snow. I plugged the charger back into the electrical outlet on a long extension cord and attached it to my battery. It's a centech 3 in 1. The led light indicates it's charged but still no response from my car. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!
We’ve had good luck with these. The problem is they have to be periodically charged up, so if you forget to charge it and then it’s totally dead it won’t work. Because it is difficult to find somebody that is willing to jump start your car with jumper cables these days, it’s almost a necessity to have one of these when you travel. People don’t refuse a jump if you have one of these Power packs. People think if you jumpstart the car with jumper cables it could hurt the computer. I’ve never known anyone to ever have a problem with a jumpstart but this is for sure the belief. These batteries probably last about three or four years then you either need to replace the battery inside the jumper box or get a new one. So I guess the answer is yes they were liable if you keep them charged up and replace the battery every 3 to 4 years. I hope this answer helps
