Yes it worked though. I usually use my electric car charger that i can set to 50amps for a jump

that never has worked when I tried it and I just got my damn truck back yesterday I am good and pissed off

Let's start over- The Reviewer is 100% correct and he says so himself that the Cen-tech 630 is not Really a jump starter, just a power supply (even tho it looks like a jump box... I use Those as well genius). Just as it says on the special, separate, included Card- which says "wait 5min Before starting the vehicle". Again, do you have the unit and have you actually tried immediately starting a vehicle with it because I Have and if you are saying you do, on cars with Dead batteries, with this Centech 630, then you lie ~

Yea works like a trickle charger. My employer bought this for generator batteries. It worked for the van yet I should of charged it again before trying to get a defective generator battery to crank.

Should be fine to connect it to the negative terminal but can ground another way. jumper cables say that too and most people seem to connect to neg term anyways.

I think he might have seen some videos on the smaller lithium ion jump starters which often have a boost button if they do not detect the battery. Unfortunately the cables on the lithium ion pics would be way too short for this particular van.

Sorry but quick question how do you charge it? I really cant charge it im trying from the back but it doesn’t seem to charge unless its not from there

I have this one as well. Exchange it for another. Mine has started a couple v8 gas engines and shitloads of smaller engines. It is a SLA battery. They should be charged every 30 days. Mine now needs a battery at 5 years old. Replacement batts are around $35 on ebay.

My parents have one and it started a 4.3 GM v6 with a dead battery (3 volts in it). That put it to the test but it did start it.

Did you turn it off when not in use? Instructions state you need to physically switch it off or else it will discharge while in the ready state.

I keep it parked in the street. It’s not registered as commercial. Where I live for the next few weeks doesn’t allow overnight parking of commercial vehicles.

Plus, using the USB port, it charges my iPhone in about an hour and a half

@@jasonhenderson6846 I have the same booster pack, and absolutely. It's worth the wait. I've started V8's that were completely dead. I haven't yet tried jump starting a BMW. BMWs are hard to jump start.

I would leave it connected for longer than 5 minutes if it won't start. I had a battery the GPS ran down took 20 minutes on charge to get it to start
