Any city or town near Boise, Eagle , Meridain, Star, Middleton, Nampa Caldwell, are going to be way overpriced, overpopulated for the existing infrastructure, leading to traffic gridlock, and now you are seeing miles of ugly apartment buildings . Nothing like living on top of one another.
Does Mountain home compare to any of these small towns? I read they are trying to build outside of Boise on the way to Mountain home? What have you heard?
It totally depends on where in Nampa you live. North Nampa is closer to the Amalgamated Sugar plant, a sugar beet processing plant where they turn sugar beets into sugar and also provide the cheap power to Nampa. But it also has a wide range of smells, in the winter, it smells more like roasting peanuts, whereas in the summer it can sometimes smell like sulfur-ish (a bit like rotten eggs). On the other hand, in South Nampa, you don't smell anything. It's too far away and the wind almost never blows that way.
