The GRR-RIPPER doesn’t appear to me to be a one and done push block. It does look like it would be a great choice for cutting that small stock as you said. Having the right tool for the job at hand is the most important factor. The GRR-RIPPER looks like a good addition to other push blocks for many cuts. I don’t own one of this style yet look forward to acquiring one or two soon. Thanks for sharing your experience and thoughts.
Good, insightful comparison. Although I’ve been tempted to buy one over the years, I haven’t because I’m sure I would cut it to shreds 😂. I can see that it may be useful in many types of cuts however. I think you are right, there is no perfect solution to all cuts we make.
