Good thing that they differ so much from each other ... and hence, over the years we have become so used to bitterness, that we found a whole new taste- and experience-world inside of it, but most people love and prefer natural sweetness much more.

I find it curious you refer to the #43 cultivar as “traditional”, certainly it has become a highly planted cultivar around West Lake, but my understanding is that this is quite new that really started in the 90’s. I find #43 to be much more aromatic and floral, but I prefer the taste of Qunti in general when I get it. I’m not sure the “race to market” of the early flushing cultivars pay off for me. Don’t get me wrong I really enjoy many #43 teas, but often the depth of taste in the Qunti cultivar is my preference. Thanks for the video and look into Long Jing teas for 2022
