Su57 designed for european theater and J20 designed for pacific theater, one is over land air combat, one is ocean interceptor..... they're designed specifically for their own theatre of operation
They are both good, the su-57 has thrust vectoring so will be better in dog fighting situations. The j-20 will be better in long range strike missions. The su-57s should be getting their new engines now.
The first problem that I have with comparing these two aircraft is that neither has seen actual combat Bombing insurgents in Syria doesn't count If you think it does you might as well be saying that it does well against cavemen The second issue is that neither of them are true stealth aircraft Both have been picked up on radar at significant range multiple times The third problem is that the capabilities that this video puts forth is what Russia and China say that they are capable of Again since neither has actually seen real combat there is no way to really judge their capabilities since both Russia and China lie about their military capabilities to look stronger than they really are
None of the stealth fighter jets of any countries is proven in real battle against any powerful adversaries therefore now we can only believe what the manufacturer country said about it's fighter jet capabilities
First don't lie. The SU-57 has not been caught on radar ever. Even though the West has been trying in Ukraine. It has yet to be tracked by any radar that has been published. The SU-57 according to the British has a 217km BVR kill a WVR kill of SU-27 and has fired the stand off munitions Kh-69, Kh-59mk2, Grom 2. Along with a 4 fighter SEAD/DEAD mission. All of these things none of the other fifth fighters can claim.
