Glad the video was useful. I have not heard of the "chunking method" for the comparison contrast essay. Usually, when we refer to "chunking" with language, we use that term to explain how we break information down into smaller bits or "chunks" to make understanding faster and easier. Hope this helps!

Thank you for the kind words! As for your paper - I believe what your teacher wants is for you to pick 2 things and show how they are different. For example, let's say I wanted to discuss the differences between Chicago and Houston. I would pick 3 ways in which they differ (geographic location, building structures, city layout) and give specific details about each of those. Hope this helps. When I taught it to my class, their papers only had 4 paragraphs. The introduction, similarities between the 2 subjects, differences between the 2 subjects, the conclusion. If you need to write an essay with 5 paragraphs, I would probably suggest that you use the Point-by-Point method. Hope this helps! 😃
