@@maggiegray1698 If you have the kind of relationship with God that is like being a best friend, constantly talking to him and hearing from him, you know when He speaks to you. But you need to develop that kind of relationship with Him that opens the eyes and ears of your understanding. Look at the book of Ephesians which talks about being a friend of God - Eph1:18 I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called-his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.

I am a Catholic and the problem is the government has too much control of our lives. Our organic constitution was originally for less government and more power for the people.. lately it has taken us into war. We need a republic to make us happy again and less taxes. The media needs to stop manipulating people. True happiness is nature and your family and God .

I watched this on a day that I felt I was drowning in the grief of feeling my life was slipping away from me without any purpose. It wasnt so much because of my thoughts but of the situation of the world and how it was taking from me the precious time I have left to live the life I want for myself. Kylie..this video has woken me to believe that no one or thing can stop me from fulfilling my life..I have the power to follow my intentions ..I have the power over my thoughts..I have the power to make it happen..thankyou Kylie💖

Kylie, thank you. I'm watching this many times and sharing with my loved ones. So glad you are well, I don't care how rare or frequent your videos are published. Take all of your time (I know you will). This was especially on point for me. Physical pain can mess with your mind. I was hit by a drunk driver - his 3rd DUI. He got off legally because the policeman knew his dad. I lost a very hard won career as a commericial pilot, ratings earned over many years by waitressing. I am now disabled enough to not be able to fly, living on a teeny disability, bad medical care, etc. I have been angry and bitter because I could be working and living the career I earned - and absolutely loved. Your film reminds me to keep on with the better, more productive mind-set. I am happier each time I remember the ideas you put forth. I thank you.

I started being grateful in a slightly different way: I made an effort to notice positive things each and every day at 13 when I was struggling, I was dealt a pretty bad hand and was struggling from day 1. Believe it or not, noticing just one or 2 positive things every day, as simple as my mum's meal was delicious and playing with my dog for a half an hour made a lot of difference in my state, despite my family situation having not changed in the slightest. Then a few years ago I started a gratitude diary where I have noted down at least 3 things I'm grateful for for 2.5 years and I was astounded to see that most days I would fill up over a page with positive things and realised how pretty good my life is now. Then I made a point of stopping noting down those things and instead actually feeling the gratitude, which proved quite difficult, but with time, the feeling started to come to me and again this shifts your state because you become happy or happier now, regardless of what's going on at the moment in your life, so I highly recommend starting to journal about positive things or what you can be grateful for everyday and note down everything, you will be surprised what comes up!

This is so profound and yet so beautifully simple. Thank you Kylie for your spoken thoughts. When I was a child, my grandad used to say ‘aren’t I lucky’ and I never understood what he meant until I reached my 50s. Giving up on what others think about you, putting more time and thought into helping others who are not as fortunate and being kind to yourself are a good start to being able to say Aren’t I Lucky. And I am.

A million likes! I could never thank you enough for imparting your wisdom in the most eloquent ways. The videos serve to bridge the gap that conversations cant. When we have those conversations, often we get stuck in the emotion, or the other persons issues as well as our own. The conversation doesnt flow the message the way a video can. There is no interrupting the video and so the mind has time to truly listen and absorb it all. This video emobodies all that I have been coming to the realization of myself this past year. What will I do with the time that I am given? When I asked my Dad about how he handles it all (the loss of my mom), he mentioned saying the serenity prayer which got me thinking about how to truly live that way without having to have the prayer remind me of it. How do I live the prayer daily in a sense is what I ask myself. This video spoke to my soul so deeply. After much contemplation I realized that as women we often desire the tribe or family aspect to this life of adventures. Men often go into the wilderness with no fear and heal, and so for me, maybe that is the stumbling block. The desire to share it with others means I dont do any of it so that needs to change in my way of thinking. Blessings upon blessings upon you Kylie for you are a gem of this world for letting such wisdom flow through you and to others.

I have been able to do this so I’m grateful. I also think in addition to being kind because everyone has a silent battle we don’t know about, we should try and right the wrongs/injustices around us. Amazing ! Every year I make these big plans and when I don’t achieve them I feel depleted. This year smaller plans. Firstly get a new job. Leave the one I wake up every day with hatred. Life is too short. All the best to you and the family this year.

So wonderfully said Kylie. I have found myself drifting away from Social Media and back to a world where the wind blows and the air is sweet and crisp. I have met too many people from all walks of life to ever want anyone else's life.

Your words are well spoken, something to think about, to start a new year with possibly a new frame of mind. When I was maybe 10, I seen a sign someone wrote themselves across their yard...If you aren't at the head of the line you are just following...I'm 63 and that still sticks with me.

Kylie, I have been told by my cardiologist that I will need open-heart surgery soon. I have complained, I have shown anger, the why me I am only 64. Your last words say to me I must deal with it. What will I do with the hand I have been dealt? I can not change what I have been dealt with. so I must deal with it. I have to move with the flow of life, look to the future look of being on this earth and things happen it is part of a master plan.

I don't have the words to express how much your beautiful video of inspiration meant to me. I have been waiting for this advice, for three years after my husband of 25 years left me. I have lamented to every friend, to myself in all rooms of my home, to my pillow at night, to God. This isn't who I was but whom I became. Your words of utmost wisdom came to me at the exact appropriate time. It is now my responsibility to put back on those big girl pants, search for my own joy and stop blaming him. Now I begin healing, and will call that sweet old lady across the street today! God Bless you and your dear husband Kylie. I don't miss a single Friday looking for your next video. You are a most beautiful soul my dear. With Love, Sandy in Palm Springs.

Glad you changed the usual content of your videos. Hope all who see it can be better focused on “their mission” for being on the earth at this time. Being happy has to be a daily decision for all of us. I think you have come a long way yourself n being the best you can. May your companion be grateful for having you in his life.❤️

Kylie, I am absolutely amazed at how wise you are. It's extraordinary for a young woman to think about Life the way you do. You are so right, we should all be grateful for the Life we have. I love the way you compare our lives with nature and it's creatures. Personally, I have learned from my young students, to live in the moment and stand in awe and wonder of all the beautiful 😍 things in nature and Life. Indeed, we have a tremendous amount of things to be thankful for. Thank you for sharing your lovely videos. Wishing you and your loved ones happiness and peace.

A beautiful and very helpful video! ❤After giving it some thought, I feel there us a missing aspect, where comparison and the ideal of fairness is used productively, to improve the lives of many. The privilege that you currently enjoy as a woman, to express yourself openly, is a privilege that has been fought for, due to comparisons made and the ideal of equality, of fairness. But obviously the people who have fought for our privileges, as many will call "rights" and those who continue to fight for the ideal of fairness, do so through action and engagement, not merely complaining. I think our ideals of fairness definitely have an important place in our society and further than that, it affects our relationships with and our impact on, the other inhabitants of this planet. So I guess that it's up to us to use this part of human nature productively, rather than on self destructive thoughts and tearing others down. No, life isn't fair, but striving for utopia is the spark that ignites action, for the betterment of our species.

Such insight and wisdom, eloquently expressed! I think that I need to watch this video daily. The concepts are so true and relevant. Your ideas resonate, because, deep down, we know them already. Yet, it is still difficult to resist wasting our precious time complaining, comparing, resenting, ruminating, overthinking, keeping track of wrongs done to us... Thank you for your inspiring video.

In contemplating my struggles in this life I have come to the conclusion that happiness as a goal, in itself, is not realistic. It is an emotion as is melancholy, fear, elation etc. No one can maintain the state of happiness. To do so would be to stifle all else which makes us grow. For me, gratitude for all aspects of our complex menu of internal signals is the key for a peaceful existence. Peace at heart is my goal in this life. With it comes, a balance of all the emotions we have and the ability to harmonize them. In doing so, the positive emotions have risen to the top of the glass and when the glass is stirred, I know it will settle again with the positive on top. You bring an awareness of beauty in many forms with you eye and talent. You are one of the ingredients in the top of the glass.
