The LPC has a few advantages: • The LPC has 9.0 font, compared to the PSQ’s 8.5 font. • The LPC is on 32 gsm paper, compared to the PSQ’s 28 gsm paper, though the higher opacity ≠ superior paper. • Single Column Format But the PSQ is more luxurious: • 2-color page design • Full reference suite • Nicer goatskin with calfskin liner • Creamier feel to paper • Larger leading between lines of text • More white space around the perimeter Yes, the LPC compares well with the readability of the PSQ, but there is a noticeable difference in the reading experience. And you should expect there to be a difference in a text layout designed a couple of decades ago by Lockman and a layout designed by 2KDenmark.
