thank you for your video, it was really clear. I have a question, i want to design an IIR filter but using an optimization technics (the PSO) but i have a problem with the cost function (the error between the desired and actual responses of the filter that i'm going to minimize), i couldn't create it. can you please help me. regards
I think there are also different group delays,e.g. the filters have different affect on the phases. You don't want to make a follow up video, comparing the filters on that aspect? ;)
really apreciate your videos..they have been a great help.. i have one question..pleeeeeeeease can you help me out on this i need to hide some data by manipulating the phase of an audio...how can i change the phase values by small amounts and recreate the audio?? please your help is highly required
Hi, the video is really clear. I want to ask something about the function "butter" to create a passband filter. I noticed that if I use a lower frequency limit really close to the upper frequency limit, the order of the filter can't be really high otherwise instead of 0 dB in that band I "boost" the signal and a lot. Why?I am approaching to the filter design, thus my question might be really naive. By the way I need to ask. Thank you :)
