I know this is for Perch, but, A Grey's Prowla Platinum II 6'6" -110G. Just Magnificent. Grey's flyfishing heritage is clearly felt, perfectly balanced and throws like a 8' rod. Were sold around 2016-2018. Desperately looking for the other models in the lineup. Almost too good to fish with, if I break it I WILL cry.
Definitely the Expride 6'10" med. I can do soooo many different techniques with it. It's the best bang for the buck rod out there and I got mine new for $189.00 on sale.
Evergreen Kaleido Inspire Blas Raven SS TKIC-67MHST-F. This is a solid tip baitcasting rod with unimaginable sensitivity and almost all my perch over 2.5 kilo has been landed on this rod 🙂
Only warning I’ll add to video is that the fast action tips on the poison adrenas new series have a factory flaw or bad design, I own 4 total and my 2 fast action versions have snapped tips, I’m very good with my equipment and take exceptional care of all of it as it is expensive…. Factory replaced them but they are still in the shipping tubes they came from. Good video
I just found your channel and I am a Shimano for Life fisherman. I have each of these models and I completely agree with you. I’m retired and live in Raleigh North Carolina USA and I fish in 2 Bass clubs in tournaments. I love my Poison Adrena with a Metanium reel the most.👍🍀😎🍀🎣
the Curado 6-10 Medium is an Outstanding Jerk Bait rod for the money. but I compleley agree that the Expride is the Finest 6-10 Jerk Bait rod made. I have all those models that you reveiwed and they all have thier places in my boat.
I have 3 of them and my favorite is the zodias. The expride is legit and light but day in and day out the zodias does everything I will ever need. It's landed 100s of 3lb+ bass and countless giant catfish by accident. Great rod overall for day in and out.
The comparison no one did before and everybody was waiting for. Nice video. About the rear handle length, are they as different as they seem on the thumbnail? Or is it just an effect from the angle of the picture?
Appears you're a big 6-10 medium fan. I'm curious for you to get your hands on the Raid Gladiator Anti Joker GA-610MC to compare to these. Very good video, thank you!
Smallmouth fishermen? It’s cool to see someone compare all these rods. I fish rivers for smallmouth so med and med light are my thing. I have the adrena it’s just a tad too fast my liking on finesse jerkbaits. It would handle the 110’s and up nice, I think. I built my own jerkbait bait rod from a north fork c602 3 power blank on a exo carbon handle and reel seat. Paired it with a bates hundo and it’s my favorite rod. The whole combo is 8 ounces.
Nice video! Huge shame that we cannot buy the 610M Poison Glorious or Poison Ultima here in Europe. These are the real high-end Shimano rods well above the Adrena
Can you guys not get them shipped to you? We have all these models here in the states including the glorius and ultima. ive ordered several rods/reels from shops in japan. I would think you guys should be able to do the same?
@@TackleCrew, it is indeed possible and I have been collecting high-end JDM tackle since 2002. However, shipping and sales tax can make it expensive for something you never held in your hands and don’t know if it suits you.
Are all of these meant for treble hook baits? I was looking at the expride for lighter paddle tail soft swimbaits + jerk baits (110's). Is this not the best double duty?
Hello friend from Latvia, nice video about rods :) i want to buy expride 169H 14-42 gr for big jerk baits live deps 130sp and so on how do you think is this model will be ok ? I will use it with braid pe im bit worry or it will be ok cuz only model avaible atm here:( thank you for you answer
Generally I think the Expride can throw heavier than the specifications. You should be able to throw it without a problem. We have fished the 10-30g rod and even think than could do the job, but you are prob better off with the 14-42g
I'm just wondering why shimano would say that adrena blank is a regular action 😅 that's what stopped me wanting one until I seen this video, but the guy talking about snapped tips also puts me off 😅 can't say any of my shimano rods have ever snapped though
You skipped the Curado, which is a better jerk bait rod, in my opinion, over the zodiac. Maybe you don't get the Curado over there. I even take the Curado over the Expride for Jerkbait rod
