Since I have them both I know the difference, at least roughly. The traditional Purofort with the red fish under the sole with a steel shank are heavier and suitable for a construction site and have more space.
Dunlop says the FieldPRO have a "sneaker fit" and indeed they are much less spacious and hold the heel and the foot well except for the toes. This however means that they offer less space, for slipping in and out, they are narrower at the ankle and less high for the foot, constructed to have contact with the foot on all sides. Size 48 is still noticeably tighter on my foot than the normal Purofort+ size 46. At 3:36 you can see how easily I can take off the Purofort+ and how relatively tight the FieldPRO is when slipping in. While the ankle region is quite tight, the leg of the FieldPRO is quite a bit wider at the top end than the other model. But since I am comparing size 48 to 46 that's not fully correct.
One boot of the Purofort+ size 46 weighs 1240 g and the FieldPRO size 48 1070 g.
I cannot say which model I prefer. The Purofort+ looks better for me, definitely. The FieldPRO is nice and wide at the top edge (this could be a plus in this and that situation), and the foot is well stabilized for walking and holds the foot well and tight (good when in mud), and they are more lightweight. Finally I'll probably choose the model depending on the situation.
I could not figure out what the precise name of the models is. The website dunlopboots.com isn't fully helpful, either. The traditional model is probably called "Dunlop Purofort+ full safety" (sometimes also written "Full Safety" on their website) while the other model in the video has "Purofort FieldPRO" printed on them. (Sometimes written FieldPro on the website.) Since it has a steel toe cap it should be the "Purofort FieldPRO Full Safety" but the shape of the foot area looks more like what is now called the "Purofort TerraPRO Full Safety".
Always be sure to look at the production date when buying Purofort boots since the fall apart by aging quite exactly after 10 years, regardless of how and where you store them or if you use them frequently or hardly. If you use them frequently, of course, they might be over befor the material dissolves.
The production date is coded in an embossing under the sole with a 2-digit number for the year and 2 digits for the month (typically in a circle) and is clearly printed with year, month, and day on the model label on the box if you buy a new one.
