Delta is a hip waders product line of the traditional French bootmaker company Le Chameau. (Their name simply means "the camel".) I own a pair of the earliest Delta variant, in dark green (which is "vert foncé" in French), with the yellow ribbon at the top edge, but cannot currently find it! :-( I would have liked to present it to you here.
The model with neoprene lining is called "Deltanord" while the one with ponte lining made from Jersey is called "Delta". The simple Delta variant seems to be no longer available. Currently you find only "Delta Limaille" everywhere. "Limaille" in English is "metal filings", and the hip waders actually have metal filings worked into the rubber under the forefoot and heel for better traction on slippy stones. However it is not advisable to walk around with these at home because you will leave tiny scratches on the floor or damage your carpet. Likewise it is not wise to wear them in rubber boats for fishing ... :-)
I own several pairs of the Le Chameau Delta, Delta Limaille, and Deltanord, in different colors and shoe sizes, sometimes multiple of the same model. This is probably not very clever since as you can see that the folding in the box has already added a bit of degrade to the rubber integrity while the boots are still unused and still have the tags on them, but I have no space to store them dark and hanging.
As you can see the waders have been delivered in long boxes in the old days but are now sold in shorter ones and are then folded unfortunately.
I regret that they are not available in bigger sizes than 47. As you can see, I have a hard time to put on the Deltanord, and getting them off can be equally hard or nearly impossible when they get flooded accidentally. That is what I like my Aigle Parcours Stream ISO in size 48 for. They have even thicker neoprene, are stiffer in general yet soft, but very good to wear, and the dark green color is another plus.
Hip waders can comfortably be worn in the musketeer style which I demonstrate her.
A dealer once told me that the most frequent reason for complaints are leaks at the heel. They are, according to Le Chameau, caused by people kicking off the boot with the other foot which is not seen as apropriate treatment of the boots. Please do not do that, or at least do not complain about leaks then.
