For single guys like me, I really prefer the Jimny over the HRV because of the fact that I do not really have to worry about my car's suspension being affected by the bumpy roads of the Philippines. Let's admit it that roads in the Philippines are more of imperfect than perfectly smooth. If I am not going to have someone in my car most of the time, comfort is really not my priority. As long as the a/c is great and the ground clearance is top notch, then I will be fine with whatever the Jimny can offer. For sure, the comfort is still there naman. Hindi nga lang kasing tulad ng sa HRV. But HRV is my favorite crossover car there is. Especially the previous generation HRV.
I have a jimny and I absolutely love it. It's really handsome and fun to drive although with a Jimny you'll end up spending a LOT more on it to make up for its shortcomings. It also isn't very practical if you're more than 2 people unfortunately.
you don't need to spend a lot. jimny just needs a nudge bar for mounting a winch. tow bar. diff breathers. maybe some protection for the transfer case. there are plenty of useless mods out there that are plain nonsense
I was hoping to see HRV on light to mid offroad test :( I like the jimny but would go for hrv because the backseats of the jimny is so tight. I just hope the hrv s is also good for offread camping and a bit of mud
Millennial Mobile😂and here I was thinking I could copyright that😢. Anyway, I think the Venue is more of Millennial Mobile than the H-RV, especially in that lime green shade it has.
Tldr. Jimny is not for everybody but for those who need a solid axle 4x4, this is the cheapest. How about camry vs forester/or something in the price range next for the quirky comparisons segment?
wasted opportunity. you should've tested the honda to see how far it could go off-road compared to jimny. conversely you should've exposed the jimny to some everyday life scenarios to see if it's usable as a daily driver in comparison to hr-v
@@jacckmtc lmao, do you need to finish the vid to see how odd this is? W/o watching it's basically, if you want a go-anywhere car? Jimny. Comfortable daily driver? HRV. No comparo needed.
So even without the comparo, makakapili ka alin mas maganda depende sa pangangailangan mo. Kaya weird sakin bakit nag comparo pa sila kung hinde naman sila comparable in the first place.
@@Karlojey You definitely have a point, but we've been bored of doing the apples to apples comparo. That's why we wanted to try something from a different POV specifically based on price. The logic is based on the same thinking that many car buyers now have: why buy a compact sedan over a compact crossover when the cost difference isn't as big as it used to be? Why buy a midsize sedan when a PPV is also at the same price?
