I still like how Harry considered Minerva so important that he thought her signature on his form would be equally as important as a guardians. But apparently not important enough to name a child after her.
I mean Minerva was still alive when they were born so he probably just wanted to honor the dead. Otherwise he should have named one of his kids Rubeus.
It happens all the time. Dumbledore flirting with furniture. Once, when I was in 5th year, Dumbledore came in, and flirted with a nightstand. Harry and I were… you know… 😉. It was awkward.
I would literally pay money to see Mcgonagall throat punch Dumbledore. Also I love Minerva & Snape's back & forths as foils to Albus's drama obsessive nonsense.
You cant sell fabulous or let them know your cooking up the steak without the big extroverted drama dripping sizzle that only that kind of voice brings to mind...
when u mentioned how great her hair looks braided (I agree btw i wish i could pull that style off) i immediately thought of the order of the phoenix parody where everyone cant stop complimenting how good Minerva's hair looks down 🥰
That's actually quite a common thing for "I'm gonna go to the toilet now" in the UK or at least in England. It's mainly pretty old people who use it now
@@me-dc8pj I'm so glad I read your comment. My trashy mind led me to think that it was DumbleD's subtle way of saying he needs to j**k off and drop the discharge into the 'pool'.
Nothing makes me as happy as watching Chan's videos, they've reignited my passion with Harry Potter which they seriously need to hurry up and make a netflix show for :)
For me, it was 'drop the kids off at the pool' and then he came with the knitting patterns magazine. I remember in the movie he'd gone to the bathroom. So, that phrase means . . . 💩💩💩
I just love her accent when she does Minerva like I really think that she would make a fantastic younger Minerva. Plus her cosplay is pretty on point too like love the way she dresses herself up very nice.
Yo just wanted to shout out my praise, can't say I've ever been into fan fiction, but I love a good parody and this is an amazing one. Parodies with continuity are so much better, they convey a true understanding of the characters and a real skill for story weaving. Goes without saying at this point but your Minerva impression is on point, I would love to request some Tom and Minnie flirting from their school days, though I wouldn't know where to start since there isn't much footage of young Minnie, or any really so I'd understand if it never comes to pass. Also love the fact that you just do this for you (and us.) it really is a gift, you're so great, so funny, so talented. Alright enough praise ( though I'm only stopping cause I think youtube comments only allow so many characters) on a side note, I'm presuming you're from England and I don't get all your slang, I've tried using urban dictionary but it is very America-influenced, I can figure most of it out from context, but if you could be so kind as to provide us with a list of some of your slang words it would help (me personally) to enjoy the jokes to a much fuller extent as we (I) wouldn't be partially focused on trying to figure out what they mean.
Yo just wanted to expand on why I think you're Mcgonagall is so awesome, bit weird I know but hey. It isn't an impression of Maggie Smith even though that's probably what you based it on and it isn't perfect if it is an impression of Maggie Smith, that sounds mean and petty I know, but.... The reason why it is so awesome and why so many comments are saying your impression is great is because A it is a very strong Maggie Smith impression and B it's how so many of us kind of imagined Mcgonagall's voice before Maggie even came along. One thing that always gets me when I read the books again is the very strong Scottish accent part, cause well so many characters have specific speech patterns like Krum and Hagrid who are written differently as well to get the point across and to emphasise their accents/ pronunciation so maybe if Minnie had been written differently I would have imagined the Scottish accent more, it also has to do with the movies and what not of course. Damn this was nowhere near as succinct (this word bugs me when I think of how to pronounce success) as I wanted. Um,........ you're still awesome!! :D
If you put what you don't understand in the comments, people will help you out. It would be very hard for her to put a list of slangs as she would have to know what you don't know to do so. For example, what slangs you know differ depending on your location, your age, and your experiences. I'm from the USA and nothing stood out as being purely foreign so I wouldn't be able to make a list myself.
@@pugsabi I get what your saying, but just a list of slang terms that are used in the video in general would be helpful. Of course she can't just write what I or any individual wouldn't know because she has no way of knowing what we don't know. So just a list of all slang terms (used in the video) would be helpful.
I have watched this and the full 2 hour version so many times and I laugh quite loudly each & every time!!!!! If only some of these lines were in the movies, can you imagine?
"Why don't you try telling some lies? It might grow back. It worked for Pinocchio." This bit got me there, my goodness! 😂😂😂 Minerva's feline sassiness neither shows mercy nor it discrimintes
OMG I totally love this! This is so funny I can hardly stand it. Always loved the Harry Potter series, books and films. Your parody is just so amazing. I totally crack up every time I watch. Thanks for the belly laughs ☺️😂✌🏼
