Collection of Sankyo / 三教, Sankajo / 三か条, Third Teaching, Third Control, performed Morihei Ueshiba, the founder of Aikido and his apprentices including Kenji Tomiki, Morihiro Saito, and Gozo Shioda. The footage shows the evolution of Sankyo, that is a technique that Shite bends Uke’s wrist, elbow and shoulder into a hook shape.
Aikido is one of the martial arts developed in Japan and was founded by Morihei Ueshiba. it is said that it has roots of Daito Ryu and other Jujitsu practiced by Samurai as self defense techniques.
