And the fact that he proposed to Amy before the wedding AND when he proposed to pregnant amy while he was already married just to trade a dumb stroller, just goes to show how pathetic he is.
In my opinion teddy should move on ,cause it's not healthy, teddy's obsession over amy when she is clearly in love with someone else and has a child is a more than Clear that teddy needs to move on.
The power Amy has... She dated that singer guy for a few months and he still calls her the love of his life. Jake was willing to throw away his dream job for her six days into the relationship. And Teddy has now proposed five times, even tho they’re both married with kids on the way
The dude is married and has a baby on the way yet he still freaking tries I wonder if the criminals he tried to get confessions out of just decided to admit so they couldn't be in the same room for another second
Vader's disciple that would genuinely be a great episode where a load of criminals start saying they confessed under duress IE teddy wouldn’t shut up and they now needed to reopen those cases
Teddy trying to get information from a murder suspect Teddy: So did you kill Jonathan? Murderer: No, I absolutely did not. Tedd: Absolutely? Ah reminds me of that time when I was out on my lawn playing with my dog. You see there's this neighbor of us who likes using absolutely a lot. Like a lot. He uses it in almost every sentence he says. Isn't it crazy? There was this one time when I asked him if his dog peed on our lawn and he was like "You are absolutely out of your mind accusing my dog who absolutely did not do anything that stupid." I mean it was just a simple yes or no question and he managed to use two absolutelys already? Isn't that absolutely crazy? Hahahaha then there was this time when we tried inviting him to dinner and to be fair it was an awesome dinner. He used like 56 absolutelys within a span of 5 minutes during our conversation isn't it crazy? How can someone manage to use that much absolutelys within such a short period of time? Then there's also this other time-- Murderer: I ABSOLUTELY MURDERED JONATHAN I HATED THAT PIECE OF SHIT. I KILLED HIM, NOW JUST TAKE ME AWAY. Tedd: Wow so you actually murdered Jonathan? Ah reminds of that one time when there was also this other guy who- Murderer: Is this hell? 5 hours later Tedd: Soo, turns out he actually did kill Jonathan.
My theory is that Amy brings order into their lives, once she leaves everything breaks down and they’re left with nothing but the realisation that they were nothing without her
They’re both married/have a baby on the way and he is STILL proposing to her💀😭 I honestly wouldn’t object to him showing up a few more times and proposing🤷🏾♀️😂
@@robbieking4070 Nah pretty damn sure if you're punching someone who's just talking to you its still assault no matter what he said. She should get a restraining order though.
@@giantWario I dunno, repeatedly proposing to someone who's made it clear they're not interested sounds like harassment to me (doesn't always have to be sexual). But yes, a restraining order is definitely warranted.
@@robbieking4070 I guess you could spin it as harassment but it doesn't really matter either way, if someone is not physically threatening you in any way, punching them is still assault.
@Imaru Lewis well with the office you had Steve Carrell moving on to film, same with Ed Helms, Craig Robinson and John Krasinski. Mindy Kaling also with her own show. With B99, there’s less star power. The show is incredible bc there’s not one clear star (unlike the office) - and lets face it - as of now, no one has really pursued moving to film. Doesn’t mean they won’t be in the future, but it doesn’t seem like season 8 will be the last.
@@jharjono155 Carrell didn’t want to move on, he wasn’t offered a contract by NBC. Andy Samberg has been in multiple amount of movies (Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Hotel Transylvania, That’s My Boy) of course, Brooklyn 99 is what most of the cast is known for, Andy Samberg is the exception.
That last clip was amazing lol. Amy left herself wide-open, and for a minute Teddy seemed almost confused, like he expected her to say "no" immediately, then had to mentally-process that she instead said "how much?" lol. What an amazing and underrated show.
I feel like no one actually appreciates Teddy as a character. He's opportunistic, but he's a pretty nice guy who's never tried to sabotage/hurt Amy or Jake (maybe because he's too boring). He helped them at their wedding, stepped back from his job at the 99, and spent a lot of time trying to be better or "exciting." I hope Teddy finds happiness and finds someone who loves pilsners as much as he does.
Amy please, we're begging you, for your own safety GET A RESTRAINING ORDER ON HIM IT'S ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE HE GOES FROM BEING A SIMP TO A CREEP
My sympathy for the character went out the window after the Road Trip episode. If he would've just gone the way Nick Cannon did after the breakup and gone away then he'd be seen in a better light
I have a theory that Teddy actually acts as insufferable as possible on purpose, and proposes to Amy constantly to antagonise her. You notice, for someone who claims he is so in love with her, he doesn't exactly show any sort of care for her, ignoring her half the time in the recent episode. He was also dedicated to try to win a stroller for his baby, meaning he is dedicated to his family, and does probably actually love them. Maybe he did love her a bit after they broke up, and had a rough time getting over it, but by the time of Amy's wedding, I think he was over her, but still wanted to somewhat antagonise her for what she put him through.
Honestly, I think Teddy as a character has run his course. I never found him hilarious, and every time I see him in an episode, especially after Amy broke up with him, I’m always like “Jesus Christ, not this guy again.”
I bet Teddy gets his confessions by getting down on one knee, pulling out a pair of handcuffs and asks them, "Don Vasquez (or whatever their name is), will you confess to your crimes?" 👮🔗⚖
you cut out when after teddy says jake and amy have nothing in common amy says "oh yeah? tell that to william atherton, the man we both consider to be the second-best die hard villain!" and jake realizes she meant it when she told him that 😂
Teddy as a detective: Criminal: "You got the wrong guy. I didn't rob no bank." Teddy: "What? Oh. I don't care about that. Ooh! I know this great Pilsner recipe." Works every time.
or Sophia comes riding on back obsessed with Jake having gone mad because she foolishly left him. i mean she's a defense attorney they all crack eventually.
@@michaelkean5969 Sophia’s not the type to get obsessed over past relationships. That is Teddy’s department and Jake’s before the latter got together with Amy
Teddy is actually kinda interesting... like, white walls for a child's nursery?? the STAINS oh my god, but he also appreciates the muted noise, so.. touché
I mean what was going through that man's head He had been rejected 4 times by Amy He had a wife and a child on the way And he still tried This is what a conversation between him and his wife would go if she had said yes Teddy: hi hunny I won the contest Wife:yay Teddy: but I gave it to someone else Wife: what? why? Who? Teddy: the most amazing woman ever also I'm leaving u for her hope our child doesn't have serious abandonment issues WTH
