This video illustrates how to perform the auto calibration of ABB TZIDC 200 series smart positioner. Before putting the positioner in auto calibration, strictly verify the default parameters as per factory setting. Once the auto calibration completes you can vary the "control parameters" for fine tunning of valve opening & closing. Most of the positioner can smooth the valve opening & closing once auto calibration finish but some valves with large stroke (here it is 200mm) requires smooth tunning of positioner. The positioner is fitted for Mazda valve for main steam bypass control valve.
