I too have become a night cleaner ever since having my children. They have left home now but it has carried on as I prefer to clean when my husband is in bed. Love waking up to a clean house! Best feeling ever!

The gray couch is the perfect color in your family room!! I love your new rug, I think it goes great in your bedroom. The colors are so vibrant and pretty. And I also always pre rinse my dishes, they get a lot cleaner that way and you’re right, it keeps the dishwasher clean too! Love ya girl ❤️

Ive always really loved the grey rug in the living room. It’s makes everything looks so cozy & I think it ties everything so well. I was low key sad when you said you were thinking of getting rid of it lol. Also Kyle looks to tired the last clip but it truly impresses me how he tries to help you as much as he can.

Emily you and Kyle should be so very proud of the beautiful, clean home you provide for your family. I was EXACTLY like you are now when I had a young family. My 5th baby was born when my oldest was 6 so I know how busy you are. I too got most of my “quiet cleaning “ done at night. I actually loved it. Mostly I lived looking at how beautiful everything looks when you are done. I love watching you and Kyle too bc you bring back so many sweet memories for me. I thank you. I really love you guys. Love your parents too. They are awesome parents and grandparents.

This is motivation at its FINEST! I only have 1 at home now, he is 17. Boys are so dirty, lol! I have multiple lung diseases so I have a hard time sleeping at night & I always do my cleaning at night. It relaxes me a lot. I love the rug in your room

This reminds me when I lived with mom and she rearranged the furniture while we were sleeping and it was L sofa as well and my brother woke up in the middle of night no lights on to watch TV and fell over the couch woke us all up😉😂🤣🤣cereal bowl flew across the living room, mom said what are you doing up he replied why would you move stuff at night😉😂😅🤣!

I am also a night owl so I feel like I get more done at night once everyone is asleep and out of my way. I love the gray couch and the rug looks awesome in your room. We love to grill too, I think our favorite is BBQ chicken. I’m just hanging out with you tonight and here lately I’ve had to run the dishwasher twice a day. I use too when I had kids home but now it’s just me and my hubby so once a day is good. I feel yah that I wash dishes prior to putting in the dishwasher too, I use the dishwasher to sanitize my dishes.

Hi Emily!! 1st off, YAY another NIGHT OWL like me!!! LOL I too find it more relaxing and serene to clean late at night.. All my babies are now grown with families of their own so my hubby Jeff and I are empty nesters, but we JUST moved into a bigger home & I get SO many ideas and motivation from watching your channel along with other ladies. I'm actually laying in bed relaxing after a LONG HARD WEEK of packing and moving; we LITERALLY moved 30 YARDS next door, but it's still HARD work when you're 57 years old lol THANK GOD for my husband, my kids and their spouses because hubby and I wouldn't have been able to tackle it... Your house and family are beautiful!! I'd love a shout out lol I'm even toying with the idea of making a cleaning/decorating channel, but I also don't have the confidence lol Take care girl!!

I clean at night it is easier when nobody is about and I am a night owl .... I also have a love/hate relationship with the fluffy rugs they are so cosy but I never feel like the hoover properly. Bless Kyle staying up with you he looked exhausted, you are a beautiful family x

I'm working on my to do list for the day. I am about to clean out our pellet grill to start a pork loin for dinner tonight. My husband got us a late birthday, mothers day gift on fathers day. I had been asking for a new grill as I do all the cooking. I love doing burgers, fish, chicken...pretty much everything is great. When my husband and I do a huge deep clean of our house...usually 2x a month for a whole house deep clean...we stay up together into the next morning knocking it all out. Love that your Hubbie does the same :)

I am constantly rearranging and redecorating 🙈 I love the changes and that rug is beautiful. We love to smoke & grill steaks. We marinade them in Dales (a must try, if you haven’t) and then sear them in a cast iron pan with butter and herbs after smoking them. So good!

Just a tip for medicine cupboards- I bought some smaller plastic tubs for each family members Medicines/vitamins so you just pull out the persons tub and all their stuff is there for their age. Made it so much easier for us! Xx

I can remember when my daughter was a new born up to age of 2, I did all my cleaning after she went to bed and was asleep.That way when she’s up she had my time all day. Love your living room. Agree the throws will look beautiful. And that rug in your bedroom is gorgeous with cream bedding will be awesome. Wish I could clean as fast as y’all do at times.lol

I’m the same way about my dishes. I have to rinse them before loading them into my dishwasher. Especially if there’s any hard stuck-on food. I hate pulling dishes out of the dishwasher and they’re not completely clean because there’s still stuff stuck to them. Do what works best for you! 😉 Loving your channel by the way! 💕

I remember having this much energy! My boys are now 17 and 23, so I'm on easy street. Although now I'm a slave to 2 spoiled dogs and 2 cats. You do such a great job balancing everything! We don't have a dishwasher that works. Currently we use the top of it for storing food. It's a small house and there's literally one cupboard for food. We built a three shelf area for food as well lol. P.S. Newbie here and subscribed 🥰

Hi how are you guys? I liked the other rug with the navy and gold but I think you should get navy poufs too and add in some of that pretty golden yellow color! Would be sooooo pretty👍💜😎 I also rinse my dishes and fill them up with water for them to soak during the day if I dont have time to clean behind myself during the day. I dont ever leave my apt a mess I freaks me out I'm a little OCD with it. 👍💜 The house looks great.
