Yes. Im from kerala, and our typical jewellery purchase is for future weddings. On the contrary we do not have much avenues to invest in businesses. Recently there is interest in stocks but very low proportion of people do that.

@soic - Here are my observations, we are from Hyderabad ( Telugu) and my wife's side is from Bengal, my parents and telugu people prefer mostly gold ornaments only, and that too the ornaments are heavy in weight. Meanwhile, during occasions and causally, my wife and her side relatives use imitation gold and sometimes gold, also the gold ornaments of the Bengal side are usually lightweight compared to the Telugu and other south states I have been to.

What is the proxy play in the jwellery business? Can companies like sky gold which make jwellery for big businesses make more money for investors? Can artificial jewellery demand increase and companies like Goldiam have a future?

One more suggestion: given that in your clips channel there are 4-5 minute videos can I suggest may be making short videos on each of the financial terms how they tell you something and how they are abused. For example, Goodwill is classified as an asset but it is not something you can exactly realise the value of in a transaction because it is a plug variable and only shows what a company in acquiring another company. Another example is like in this video you could also talk about how low ROE itself is not bad but combined with higher inventory or asset turns could mean higher efficiency. Or how efficiency in working capital use can be a better indicator of a smart management instead of raising debt or equity. Thanks
