Just got back from this area. I caught a 40 inch sturgeon first one ever super pumped

Great video Darren Thanks. Can you comment on rod power? I have an 8' conventional rated 15-25lb line which might be on the light side for bigger fish. I'm looking at adding an 8' Okuma conventional, with line rated either 15-40 (MH) or 20-50 (H). Any thoughts would be appreciated.
