After 26 years of shooting recurve bows, with breaks (a lot of years without doing so), this videos made me finally order the limb gauges. When the screws won't get the job done. :)
Really great video! Currently working at a school where I've joined the archery club. The teacher/coach has been quite busy for a while now so while I've progressed up to the 50m/70m shooting range I've been wanting to tune my bow again but haven't had the chance. I'll talk with him about what I learned and let him know about any changes I plan on making or problems I see!
Hello Sjef, i am a 3D shooter and I love watching your videos. I would be very interested in the speed of your bow in feet per second. I canˋt find any information about topshooters arrow speed at the web. So, if this is not a secret, please tell me. Thank you!
This is a completely allien world to me ... still very interesting ... at the ranges I shoot (max 35 meters) this level of detail does not have much influence. However it is still very interesting to see what the high end is capable of. Can't wait for the tuning video ...
A well set-up bow makes a difference no matter what distance you're shooting at. Everyone really shoould take their time to get their equiment tuned. It's very rewarding, and you learn a lot along the way.
Very informative and interesting video - more please 👍🏼😊 - Can you recommend a good tiller bolt position (how many turns away from the riser)? My coach told me there should be a max of 2 turns - especially for the Hoyt Xi and Velos limbs - the efficiency of the limbs will be perfect... is that right?
Hello Sjef and all Triple Trouble team, excellent videos!! I have a question about BEITER PLUNGER: Could you specify the correct size for hoyt formula x riser? 5/16”-24 or M8x0,75? 53,5mm or 61,5mm thread cylinder? Correct Screw length, pin, nut? Thank you for the info!
So Douglas mentioned with an X10 to have half the shaft visible behind the string. What's his view on parallel shafts? Some say the full shaft, some say fully behind the string.
@@patricksteele the sjef scope I think is fixed so you can't change the fire ring pin... The full size curve rx scope allows you to change pin size and colours if you buy the separate fire ring pins... The 0.19 is difficult to see and struggles to pick up light especially indoors in sports halls... Outside it is fine The housing on the curve rx Pro is long and might feel bulky if you're using it on a field setup with changing distances... On fixed rounds like 18m or 70m you can set the angle of the housing so its the correct angle for viewing through.... This is the reason why the sjef scope is thinner so you don't have this problem if you change vertically on your sight
Adding subtitles is a lot of work unfortunately. We have selected the option for people to add them for us or for RU-vid to add them automatically, it's not up to us on that front.
Hello! can you make videos with subtitles in Spanish please .... more than anything else in technique! which are the most important thanks and very good videos !!!
They are called the 'Vertatune plate' and you can put the plunger hole higher or lower, so closer to or further from the grip. This can make a difference in tuning to your personal preference
