**UPDATE** i slightly misspoke when talking about the exotic helmets. the cage helmet isn't exactly the same as the Beret. The cage helmet does give and extra shrapnel proc but doesn't get double from a crit. so Beret is better because u can get 4 shrapnel hits while cage will only give you 3. Gas mask Is technically better than Beret only if ur running mods like explosive shrapnel. for this particular build with targeted strike Beret will be better. Lastly i forgot to mention the mod i use on the crossbow. I use Gold Vulnerability Amplifier. my apologies. and the attachments i use on the SOCR is (Gold mag, hammer compensator, gold laser sight, and compact reflex sight.)
I would love to see a remake of the fast gunner build with the MG4. I been loving it with the renagade set but struggling to know what mods to use, Your builds are always the best I seen to run off of!
The cage helmet makes it require one less bullet hit to trigger shrapnel. The socr triggers shrapnel after 4 bullets so cage helmet makes it 3 with no crits. The cage helm is not useful at all when we build into crit. The gastight helmet is slightly better than beret and should only be bought if you already have the rest of your body peices, socr and any offhand you might want. The translation is very bad in this game when it comes to thing sounding like the same thing but all 3 of these helms are different and do not do the same thing.

3:01 the "Bulleye's" effect and the +30% crit rate on the crossbow are dif the pistol only gives you bulleye which is +8% vulnerability, the crossbow gives u +8% and +30% crit

You are a bit mistaken on how the Valor works. It's text is not correct, it is not a 4% chance to trigger Shrapnel, it's instead triggered on every 4th hit, and crit hits count as 2 hits. Meaning if you crit twice in a row, that triggers shrapnel.

Friendly reminder that the long axe exists as well. Just gotta heavy attack the ground for 5s of +20% damage and with final fortress mod an additional 10s of +10% damage and 10% movespeed after the first effect ends. The boss combo would look like this: throw nade>call deviant>crossbow headshot>slam ground>spray with rifle. Also rapid-fire calibration is probably better than precision for the souvenir build, assuming you can tolerate having 10,000 rifle rounds on you at all times.
@@Glitchiz Just noticed a few things ya didn't cover. :) Also there's certain bosses that just feel horrible for Souvenir. Silo Theta's fridge mimic, Forsaken Giant, and Monolith of Thirst's shadow hound are all going to pose problems for Souvenir and really any weakspot-oriented mag refill build. Strongly recommend swapping to a more bursty build when needed.
@@Rolow69 Sorry to necro, but Souvenir also triggers off Shrap hits to weakspot. Fridge is a lil eh because it doesn't have a whole lot of spots for Shrap to hit, but still puts in work. Giant was iffy, it's so big that Shrap damage falls off due to distance, but didn't have to reload that much against it, and Hound is easy peezy with it. His whole face is a weakspot.
@@walifrex All g bud, I quit playing a week ago because I couldn't tolerate having a harder time fighting the technical problems of the game than the bosses themselves. I was comparing souvenir to other mods vs certain bosses. Fridge has no weakspots(you never refill ammo), Giant's vulnerability phases are only a few seconds(Only really able to put about a mag into him so it's better to use a damage multiplier mod instead), Doggo's weakspot is inconsistent and despite being a relatively normal boss I had to reload a lot against him(could just be a bug, add it to the long list of spaghetti code-related reasons why I quit)
Would love to see a updated power surge build, especially with the gas mask or skull mask with some of the new armour sets to use for element damage. Great vids as always.

shrapnel has always been my favorite. always a top dps build even since beta others like unstable bomber can get rly good dps as well but ive never been a fan of pistol only builds.
nah id go purple with double crit rate honestly. actually... idk it would be close would depend on how much crit rate u have on the rest of your gear lol
he doesnt have it, but the best food is the legendary bread, gives 25% weapon dmg, which is by far superior for shrapnel,bounce,fast gunner builds. u find it in phase 1 in one of the buildings near some refinery. the place has lots of crops around it too. It s on the second floor above the very wide garage on the kitchen counter 😉

I haven't read over all comments as in Q and A, i just watch your steams .... as for builds and you talk about the skills that you run with or change to - do you use profile saves to change hen required. I havent tried it myself yet. If it works you could have a loadout for each type you encounter.. you are up against. Cheers
The Cage Helmet also gives 10% shrapnel damage on top. Or it's supposed to, at least. I can't recall where exactly I've read it but I'm pretty sure the dev's mentioned it somewhere

I found some information out yesterday while playing. *Need a fact check* When servers wipe characters levels go with them as well as everything else. Seasons are only 3 months long and level cap is 50. Next server wipe is sometime in August. I’m a solo player and this kind of detours me of staying. The game is refreshing but losing things it takes me weeks to gather is a nuisance. Maybe I’m missing something here. I know in Conan Exiles they have decay systems to deal with AFK players. Like hundreds of other games like this one. Even Fallout76 doesn’t have wipes.
@@Irishhawk8 ur lose your levels last I checked. Season length will vary this season is six weeks but devs said later seasons may be longer, u keep all currencies except energy links, u also keep all main and side story progression, house, weapon and armor blue prints , and can even carry over endgame crafted gear and weapons to eternaland before reset to bring them with u as well. U don’t lose much honestly lvls isn’t a big deal u level rly fast in this game
@@Glitchiz So wouldn’t it be wise to just build in eternal land instead of the server. You’d assume that if it keeps things safe it be wise to just build there.
@@Irishhawk8 you’d think but unfortunately they add a “eternaland exclusive tag” on everything u build there and it doesn’t let u bring house blueprints back to the real game. So u would still need to build and save a seperate house in the real game as well
Why not use Shatter Bread vice the other two meals? Slightly harder to make since you need deviated aloe, but it's Weapon DMG +25% compared to Shrap and Crit dmg, which as you pointed out, scale off Weapon.
@@Glitchiz lol Fair enough. I'm running basically the variation you have, but sidearm is Icy Rain with the healing frost mod for groups and to heal up quickly. Great video btw!
ive watched every single shrapnel build video made on YT and the combination im using has been show off maybe 2 other times total and it has the highest dps of any possible shrapnel combination... if thats not the ultimate build for the weapon type idk what is... it was thoroughly tested against every other shrapnel combination in the game before uploading the video.
Man has really exposed my boy D50 Wildfire. There goes my free "Most damage dealt" stat at the end of every SILO. Yes, the D50 Wildfire is absolutely bonkers in SILOs.
Hello, your videos have been my bible since I started playing this game solo a few days ago. Did you try any of the SMGs with either shrapnel and/or power surge ? Seems everybody is focused on the SOCR builds but no one talks about the SMGs ? Is there a reason ? Thanks mate, keep up the good work ! o7
nothing rly good for power surge in smgs imo the outlast rifle is rly the best for that. One could argue the exotic outer space smg isnt bad but unfortunately its base trigger chance is only 25% as opposed to outlasts 35%. so if ur not getting a guaranteed kill with ur first shots its gunna take much longer to start ramping up ur power surge dmg. as for shrapnel smgs in beta the best weapon by far was the Div-evo because it shot super fast and had a perk where if u got a kill it would refill ur mag so u never had to reload, that being said in final release they changed that which rly nerfed that gun so the two best options for shrapnel now are the pioneer blue rifle for early mid game, and then the SOCR last valor for endgame. they have the best shrapnel base perks of any other weapon in the game atm.

ive tested both beret and gas tight helmet, Gas tight helmet is by leaps way better than berett, with this build that ur showing. if i pre-proc lonewolf i can get up to 120k dps on a dummy ofc.
Why are you hitting the weakspot of the dummy with the SOCR? I thought shrapnel hits could only hit the weakspot if you DO NOT directly hit the weakspot. So basically, you have to shoot anywhere else. Edit: lol, nevermind. 😅
@@benverpoort131 lol yeah the main build isn’t a weak spot build it’s a crit dmg build, the unlimited ammo variation uses shrapnel carnage though and that one u don’t wanna hit weak spot
Just a heads up you are working on false information with The Last Valor. (The mistranslation has been worked out by some small youtubers) The first line isnt 4%chance to proc, it is actually "Shrapnel procs every 4th hit" which makes the second line make more sense with "Crits counting as 2 hits" (not meaning crits activate extra shrapnels) With all that said your if you are choosing things off of DPS numbers then you are fine, just wanted to let you know for posterity and what-not. (obviously the guns third line does infact create additional shrapnels)
Can someone explain to me the point of all these builds or the end game in general? We build up, get stronger for the end game but its only around for a week or two then everything gets reset. Yes Starchrom carries over but you can only get it from the filter after you collected it from the challenges and battlepass. Seems like there is no reward for touching the end game content. Are there blueprints that drop from the end game bosses that carry over? Im only in Phase 2 right now.
all blueprints, mods, weapon accesories and cosmetics get carried over to new season so pretty much you get immediate access to your previous season build when you start new season
@1Gigas1 okay. I guess the wipe seems off to me in this game. We are going to go into next season stronger than we were before, I'm sure the difficulty will be set higher, but only able to play in the week 1 area? Seems like we get all this content for a short period at the end, then back to farming materials with limited things to do.
@@David-mg5jxI got to endgame in a week I get to spend five weeks doing endgame content minus the raid and manibus lol we have plenty of time. Not to mention next season won’t be the same as this one. They will be adding all new content and even stated that new seasons may unlock new areas of the map we haven’t discovered yet. Will feel like an all new game in a way
@Glitchiz hopefully! I'm in phase 2 right now but can't farm anything else til next week. I don't want to waste my controllers on normal mode Silos. Just hope with reset they don't time gate so we can play the content we were used to having.

I’ve got a guide already out going over every legendary accessory location, as for the mods just google once human legendary mods list there’s several out that people have made already with a list of every mod and where to find them all organized into n a convenient excel sheet. Lastly for starchrom I have a guide out for that as well already that goes over all the ways to get starchrom in the game lol feel free to check them all out
Just a random question... do you switch between weapons as you explore the world? im lvl 30 but only just completed Gaia monolith. i have the Gold SOCR in this vid but i always have 1000's of smg ammo, so i got a good smg for clearing towns and the SOCR for bosses. is this a good strat?
@@Justp33p what Darwin said below. Personally though for normally territories I use the crossbow if ur properly upgrading that u can one shot all normal enemies in normal town throughout the entire game and u almost never have to craft ammo for it

I made an oopsie and bought a 3p renegade not realizing how awful renegade is compared to lone wolf. Gacha rolled me KAM and MP7 which are elemental builds that I cant take advantage of. Now Im stuck with subpar 22k DPS while everyone and their shrapnel lone wolf sets are getting 100k DPS. It will be weeks before I correct myself on this huge mistake. Lesson learnt to always roll the featured banner next time round.

Awesome video - i have 2 notes, I would love to see it on a boss "like the wolf" wich does not have phases so we can see how fast u take it down :) 2nd. u dont show the crossbow mod ?? is this not important or am i missing the point on mods, i thought they all worked together ? like even if u had a mod on a melee wep this would stil count ?? am i wrong ?? EDIT: I am rocking the burst build rn, and have all the mods u metioned, calibrated my rifle t5 +10 with the same calibration blueprint, and i still do MAX 27k dps ?? what am i missing ??

@@Glitchiz Then it might be worth giving up a bit of raw test dummy dps and damage for more stable alternatives or qol? But what that really does is just lower the skill ceiling and relax the situational conditions to deal your optimal dps when solo. But then a few seconds to time to kill isn't the end of the world for most of us casuals Honestly i'm still liking wildfire much more then crossbow even without spreading marks and the crossbow's 30% crit chance because it will consistently and easily work even with my level of bad aim.
Man I really wish I had the skills to build a website that actually lets you build your preferred status using all mods weapons and armor in the game so that you can easily see what stats you can have. I just want to be able to see all the stats all on one page without having to go through 35 different menus to compare different builds

Itll likely take a while unless thw devs have a public api, someone will have to create one, which dont always go too well. At least from my basic understanding of development that seems like itd be the biggest issue with making one. Ive never built an API before but it seems very difficult, but ive pulled from a couple before. Tried to make something like this for diablo 2 for a class but even that game still doesnt have a good public api that i could find.
@@Stinkydew1996 If someone has the time and motivation, they could go in and set the data manually, and update it manually with all the patches and additions from future seasons. But you’d have to really hate yourself to put you through that xD
great weapon but way too expensive. 8K starchrom is a waste. u only use it for applying bullseye which u can do with the crossbow and its free. u could buy almost 3 exotic armor pieces for the price of that weapon... its not worth it

Doing 20k DPS with God-Tier Mod Rolls. Not sure how people always get this high DPS; prob. using all kind of food/Buffs etc. I got fortune and got big Crit dmg and Weapon dmg on all my mods, but on the Doll DPS is kinda low, also I never got unlimited ammo, he always reloads with 42% Crit Rate WHen I run your mods, I am down to 17k DPS until I mark the enemy then I am up to 33k for the 10 sec. window. With Pet and Mark up I hit 44k
@@Glitchiz @Glitchiz yeah got 4 set lone wolf, one ballista and Barrett. Got all mods on violent so Crit DMG. Just unlimited ammo often doesn't work for me on bosses. Someone told me if you accidentally hit a weak spot your shrapnel can't , so you lose ammo just not sure about this Theory.
@@sweetdeal8951 that part is true i mention it in the video... if ur doing the "infinite" ammo build u CANNOT aim for weakspot it only refills ammo when shrapnel hits a weakspot not your bullets. Shrapnel cant hit the weakspot if u are shooting the weakspot thats why i mentioned for that particular build u have to aim for the body. aim for anything else but the weakspot lol
the dummies now have a 5% dmg reduction for some reason and they are also considered deviants not soldiers so u wont see the maximum dmg potential on dummies right now. the latest patched changed a bunch of stuff on test dummies so the numbers are allot lower now that what you would actually be doing unfortunately
There is a spreadsheet made by Doomeris that breaks down all of this. A lot of people use this guide but bringing it up either leads people to others' channel or they don't mention the channel and they are basically stealing someone else's work.
mods might be the same but the secondary perks are rly what make ur dmg increase. id say 50% at least of the top dmg i do is because of the stacked crit dmg and weapon dmg sub attributes i have on all my mods. just having the mods themselves with no good secondary perks youll be lucky to get 45K dps this builds great but it heavily relies on top tier min maxed mod rolls

Agent set, into eventually 4 piece falcon set. Then slowly work towards unlocking the lone wolf exotics. As for weapons the blue pioneer is great for early game shrapnel builds

Marble floor you can actually enable under the memetics. In the memetics tree, go to Building and unlock "Enhanced Support" It will give you the marble triangle and square foundations.
the marble floor is not a skin... its the default look of cement foundations so just upgrade ur bases material quality and youll start to see it right away

So, I just started a few days ago. On my server we are in Phase 1. I am 29 soon 30 and managed to save of Starchrom for the weapon but... I cant get this build to work until way later in the game right? I mean I still have not seen a single Shrapnel mod at all
@@AzeriathGaming yeah it’s def a late game build that being said u can use the blue pioneer AR early on and still do decent shrapnel dmg even without mods
i bought all my armor and weapons straight up and didnt waste my starchrom on random roll. if u talk to the machine theres two option... roll randomly, or shop for specifics. if u know whats good shopping for specifics guarantees u the piece 100% and you'll save allot of starchrom.
it will have higher base dmg than icy rain but everyone that runs frost vortex typically goes for that infinite ammo sustain dmg build which the AR cant do. so personally i always run Icey Rain for frost vortex builds.
Reason nobody is really caring about Wildfire is most normal mobs die within 4-5 bullets even in Hardmodes so wasting time with marks is kind of pointless and none of the extra bonuses beyond marking apply for other weapons when using Wildfire compared to Bows Crit which does.
@@Endeavourment not everyone is going to have a stacked build going into hard and pro mode so wildfire is a great transition weapon for some more dmg against multiple enemies until crossbow can start picking up the slack again
@@Glitchiz I think the real main reason is that the crossbow is free so it's gonna be available to everyone, even people who weren't all that smart about their starchrom usage

frost vortex is also VERY strong right now yt some end game frost vortex builds they can be just as strong as shrapnel if built correctly. if you have already invested allot into it i would just stay with it
Would the gold AWS with bullseye be good to run with the gold SOCR if I base the build like this? Im running the gold AWS right now with the purple SOCR and Im getting ready to buy gear for bullseye build BUT if shrapnel is a better build for damage then I can easily just buy that gear instead.
@@MrGrizzArts go shrapnel the gold bullseye sniper is a huge waste of 8k stsrchrom imo. Shrapnel will have higher potential dmg. For the amount u pay for the gold sniper u could unlock almost 3 pieces of a great gear set
