It's a Great Plan or something, but the events are important cos they're building the character, even if that means someone will die. And the truth is that they have free will, and they're making all of the choices.
When lucifer bumped into the girl at lux, and she said it's OK it's not your fault, I actually believe that was God telling lucifer killing his brother wasn't his fault.
I believe Linda didn't scream because Lucifer, even showing her his real face, wasn't trying to scare her unlike all the time he did it before doing it purposely scary for the bad guys.
In my opinion, these are the 2 best episodes that you have watched. I have been waiting for you to see episode 6. He actually showed Linda his true face. As far as I have seen, Lindea is the only human that has seen it. O)ther than those that he punishes. Great post having these 2 episodes together. And thanks for sharing them with us.
To answer your question about police recording shots, the magazines that record shots are generally too expensive for most departments to keep sourced. However, all officers have a standard amount of ammunition supplied to them that is usually tracked, as well as forensics can test ballistic marks because each gun, even the same model, have minor imperfections that lead to differing markings left on the shell casings. It would be relatively simple to determine if a police officer did this, because of the ballistic markings, gunpowder residue, and timing. Since Chloe presumably called immediately on finding the scene, was wearing the same clothes and had no gunpowder residue, it would be pretty trivial to determine she didnt shoot him.
Regarding costs of using songs in TV series, I have been listening to The Office Ladies podcast, hosted by the actresses who played Pamela and Angela. Most times when they say how much it cost to get the rights to well known songs the cost is in the low tens of thousands.
In episode 7, if she had fired her gun, of course it would be noticed that it had been recently fired as its battel would be warm and smell of gunpowder. But even if she had used a different gun and managed to get rid of it before she made the call, she would be covered in gun powder residue on her hands, face and clothes. So it would have been easy to prove she didnt do it through forensics alone. (Unless she was spending the morning at the gun range, but that would also easily explain any gun powder traces on her as well.)
I think i am an exception but i really like Dan he was a dirty cop but he got his redemption especially in the later seasons he is so underrated in the show
As I keep watching his reaction (granted it's also nice to watch Lucifer again) I think it's actually wild that someone doesn't know the basis of Christianity like God, Lucifer/Satan, Micheal and Gabriel.
11:41 the song's copyright is owned by Atlantic music group and is owned by Warner music,Lucifer is WB property so they have the rights of the song to begin with
I researched Don's question about the copy right for the song "Way Down We Go" in the 6th episode, and the pricing is unclear, but some articles were saying that copy right deals typically price based on context in which the song is used and how much is going to be used. Hope this helps. If anyone gets a clearer answer, feel free to reply. I'm genuinely interested in this now.
For the God-Sees-All Topic: The religious argument would be, that despite him knowing everything he is not the architect of our Destiny, since we have free Will.
I love watching your reactions to Lucifer. BTW, did you know the show had been canceled and fans demanded its return so Netflix picked it up for the final season?
My personal interpretation of God knows all and yet you have free will. Imagine every choice has 2 or more possibilities and God sees every possibility and where that will ultimately lead but doesn't know which choice you will actually make but knows the most to least probable choice. In this way, God knows everything yet preserves free will. So he knew Uriel would do what he would do and Lucifer would do what he ultimately did but there were other possibilities and God most likely hoped one of those choices would be made plus God has been for a very long time taking a hands-off approach. Lucifer should have told Linda, "You can't handle the truth!" Instead, Lucifer shared a truth that has broken Linda. Remember that this is all a part of God's plan.
10:21 he did NOT sleep with the devil hahah that would be WILDDD luci would be pissed if he heard u say that hahaha, slept with demon yea tho, W vid keep em cominnnnn
Absolutely loving your reaction to *Lucifer*! Your enthusiasm and genuine insights really bring the episodes to life for us viewers. It's fascinating to watch you process the character development and the intriguing plot twists. In Season 2, Episodes 6 and 7, we really see the complexity of Lucifer’s persona deepen. The interplay between his devil-may-care attitude and the underlying vulnerability becomes more pronounced, especially in his interactions with Chloe. Their chemistry is electric, and it’s so refreshing to see how their dynamic evolves with each episode. The way you pointed out the nuances in their relationship really resonates; it feels like you’re not just watching the show, but experiencing the emotional depth alongside the characters. Moreover, the episodic blend of crime procedural with supernatural elements keeps the narrative engaging, and your reactions to the twists were priceless! The way you caught onto the themes of redemption and forgiveness-especially in these episodes-showcases how well you’re connecting with the material. Your commentary on how Lucifer grapples with his own identity and morality speaks to the show's clever writing, making it a treat to watch along with you. Your honesty about your reactions is refreshing! It’s clear this show got you hooked, and it’s exciting to think about where the story will take you next. Keep up the fantastic work! I can’t wait to see how your impressions change as you dive deeper into the series. Who knows? You might end up like Lucifer himself-charmed and a little devilish in your enthusiasm for the show! 🤩
There is a very interesting idea of a World where noone can die. Would true Immortality for all ruin the world, or make it better for us? It´s safe to say without death, there would be a core part missing in life. God sees Past and future, and more. He could just wipe the universe out into a blank page, but chooses not to. Is it a great plan? Or are we just an idea? I don´t think many can say that. What we know for sure is that we got the oppertunity to live life, and Loss and suffering is there to relate to others, to not feel alone. Everything, also Angels are god´s creation. And i think God would like even his Angels to experience what he created.
It surprises me they didn't have Tom Ellis workout more for the role I mean Dan was more built than Luci was lol. Still a good looking man. Don't get me wrong.
