Arya Vaidya Sala (AVS), Kottakkal, Kerala, is an 121 years old Charitable Institution engaged in the practice and propagation of Ayurveda, the ancient health care science of India. AVS offers classical Ayurvedic medicines and authentic Ayurvedic treatments and therapies to patients from all over India and abroad. AVS was established at Kottakkal in Kerala State of India in 1902 by the visionary physician and philanthropist, the late Vaidyaratnam P.S. Varier. Started essentially as a village clinic, it has now grown into a multi-unit, multi-disciplinary, multi-functional and multi-crore organization.

Video is soo good, it gives very good information. thanks a lot for uploading. Is insurance will be covered fully without objection from insurance? some insurance wont cover the panchakarma. will the treatment contains panchakarma? How the discharge summary looks like, I mean whether it describes the disease or general bill for all the disease? Thanks in advance.

We could claim almost all amount (more than 1 lakh) from our insurer for our treatment for back problem and headache issues. Just check with your insurer and hospital both if can reimburse panchakarma or not, then decide accordingly. Thanks for watching…🙏🤗

Excellent explanation of the centre. Will be emailing you. It’s a little pricey for India - AC rooms and meals or treatments are not included.

There is a range of rooms for different budgets.. please see the whole video to know about each room and then decide accordingly. Yes meals and treatment cost separate.

@@ApurbaDiary I did see the whole video and an AC room is like $80 per day, treatment and medicine another 4400 rupees per day and food is not even included!

You can choose your room according to your budget.😊

The minimum an AC room is 2700 rupees per night and treatment and food 4400 rupees =7100 rupees per night or $85 per day and we have to buy our own food on top! Very expensive! But your video is excellent! If they had branch in Delhi then at least I save air place flying to kottakul

Hi… Thanks for watching video. This Kottakkal ayurvedic hospital is mainly for bones, joints, different kind of massages, rejuvenation, relaxation, weight loss etc. Anything very internal like brain, heart won’t be that much helpful. Hi.. In the video have informed how to do online consultation. Please talk to doctor at first online and get all guidance and instructions. They will tell you clearly if you need to get admitted at hospital or not, and what will be the treatment plans tentatively. We had migraines and back bone related issues which got taken care. 😊

Food at restaurants will be cheaper as compared to outside hotels, also hygiene. So don’t worry for that. Medicine depends upon your issues. But they provide their own factory made best ayurvedic products. That’s why costly a bit, but it’s very much worthy. They don’t cheat after all. Awesome experience really we had.
