I have had numerous requests to make a video on the interior RV inspection. I resisted as it would be a long and likely boring video. But this 2015 Phaeton was also so nice I wanted to show it anyway. Thanks for watching!
If I own a Class A one day and get an inspection like this done, i'll be sure to sneak a $100 bill behind a cabinet to see if the inspector checked! 😂 Thank you for taking the time to bring us along for the ride on this inspection. Very good job!
This was great, thank you for taking on the extra work of filming while inspecting. Educational, informative, and enjoyable. Love your perspective on things, and the excellence of your work.
I was late to see this posted but what a great learning experience. I can't afford a Tiffin but, I'll use all of your vid to help when I look to buy. Of course, I'll get a certified inspector to check it out too. Thank you James.
Thank you! About to go check out a 2018 used Grand Design RV this weekend and I scribbled down a ton of notes of what to be looking out for! Also appreciated your roof inspection video as well! :)
You have outdone yourself James! I think the video you have done, I feel is the standard for an inspection! Greatly appreciated it! Keep up the kick ass work!
James, thanks for the video! I have not seen a full inspection as you have done or at least not that many. Hopefully teaches someone what to look for when shopping for an RV. I Didn't know about set screws on the AC knobs, mine are loose, so now I know how to fix them. I have an '05 Tiffin that has been a great coach with minor issues (Knock on wood) as of my two years of ownership. Thanks again, always look forward to your vids.
James, Thank you so much for the inspection video. I learned some things that I will look for next time I try to buy one! BTW I watched the whole thing standard speed! You could have left out the balmy 80 degrees comment! Respectfully, Kevin
@@AZExpert You know, there are RV dealers up North! I’m pretty sure they could use highly qualified techs in the summer when the temps are 80.😈. Thanks again for the inspection!
Yo AZ E. I wish there were more professionals like you. You seem to be very through and upfront. Anyone you recommend in the Los Angeles area. I am looking to pull the trigger on a coach shortly. Keep up the great videos. Cheers JG
Appreciate this and all your posts Very Informative! I’m thinking the “custom” cabinet by the fireplace might be a kennel for a small dog. Especially since there was loose pet food in the nearby cabinet.
@@AZExpert Nope as is..very expensive lesson for me and they refused to fix anything including turbo seals leaking in limp mode all the way home! no bueno!
James, great video! Love your thoroughness and sense of humor. Question on inspections in general, is a test ride a part of a motorized RV inspection? TIA…
James- thanks for the terrific inspection of the 2015 Tiffin, looks very clean. Glad you think Tiffin's are pretty well made, but I take it you're concerned about Thor's take over of the brand. Looking to buy a used Tiffin or Winnebago. I am also considering Thor; what brands should I stay away from??
The ground is very sloped.......LOL....you need to come to WV. You will see some sloped ground. Question about LP leak testing. Have you found the newer units (mostly travel trailers) with all the rubber hoses will not pass this leak test?
I have a quick question how do you get the fog out of the windows when they're double pain windows do you have to take them out how do you do it or sweat in between the two glass
The only real way it to remove the window, take it apart, separate the glass panes and rebuild using a special 3M glaze with built-in desiccant and then re-build the window and install. There are usually companies that specialize in this.
Good morning my friend I wanted to make a suggestion or mainly an idea you should open up a school to teach Students how to do inspections on motorhomes and everything else that you inspect you never know I might sign up for a class but I want to get a certificate or diploma once I do it LOL seriously seriously you can actually do it online your videos are already there all you got to do is make it a little bit more school like FaceTime homework that kind of stuff🇺🇸🇵🇷😊🖖🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I appreciate that. There is a pretty good industry sponsored school NRVTA in Athens, TX. A few RV youtubers have gone through it and thought it was useful. It's difficult to recommend the RVSA one in Florida though.
