I have more recently been watching the videos of Karanvir Singh Nayyar and Chief Makoi showing 3rd Officer and Chief Engineer perspectives, so yours is an interesting further insight into shipboard life. Please let your Chief Cook know that this was very interesting to a lot of people. I think perhaps he was a bit shy about being on camera, but someone who has the responsibility for provisioning and feeding 21 people for a 4 month voyage has nothing to be shy about. To a landlubber like myself, it is often just these kinds of 'minor' details that are the most interesting. In this video you said there was no problem being vegetarian onboard. 3/O Singh said in one of his videos that it depended a lot on the nationality of the cook. Indian cooks: no problem. Others: sometimes a problem, where you can end up eating a *lot* of salads. 8-) He ships with Maersk, though, so maybe there are other differences. Many thanks for posting these videos.
