Complete NEW Superman IV Subway Sequence Remastered/Upgrade 

Well, the problem is the dark hearted younger generations. They want everything like Batman, dark, grim, and gritty. They are whining about the new Thor movie not being dark and serious enough. They don't get it, some people like their heroes like the classic comics, lighthearted, goody, goody, wholesome individuals.

Yeah, that was a bad move to darken the costume.

@@jonathancummings6400 actually no. The costume designers felt that the bright colours look too cartoonish, so made the switch to darker colours to give the heroes a more serious look, for the adults.

Yes, made my point entirely. For which adults? Older ones like myself who love the classic look? No. for the younger ones who only like dark depressing things. The whole Man of Steel movie diverges from proper Superman behavior. Neither it, nor Batman vs Superman, nor Justice League, nor the Flash movies were ever going to be gigantic, Marvel style, billion dollar grossing movies, they are dark and terrible. DC characters are supposed to be "Superfriends", they are supposed to be lighter and sillier than Marvel. For example, Batman would fit right in with Daredevil and Kingpin and Luke Cage and the Punisher, they are just as dark, grim and gritty as he is, and outside of Daredevil, are willing to kill like Injustice Superman. An example, when it was clear destroying the ship would be the end of Krypton after he had destroyed the Worldengine, so the threat to Earth was gone, and Zod was panicking, he wouldn't have answered, "Krypton had it's chance" and commit genocide which is what he did, he would have made a deal, Zod and the remaining Kryptonians stand down, and he won't destroy the ship and will help them relocate somewhere else. Like Captain Marvel did for the Skrulls. When Superman did that horrible action, I knew DC was going to fail ultimately, they were trying to take the characters where they aren't supposed to go.@@merilwen

amen to that. Could you imagine this wizard being in charge of the effects and re-editing? The film would go from a mediocre Superman movie to a possible great one.

I have been following Dharmes’ Superman Cinema since 1996. Seen many remaster videos. This one is the one I have been dreaming of. WB should seriously hire this person, give him access to all the extra Reeve footage, and let the person remaster all Superman movies.

What an improvement. The way it should be. The action & quality. I hope they'll be a Director's cut DVD release which all the Superman movies deserve. None of them had any anniversary releases. I'm sure they'll be more upcoming releases.

I think that line would have worked. With Reeve's delivery, it could have come off as sincere and funny. He had a unique balance with character.

Exactly. With passion and modern technology, it's like the budget was increased by several million just in this 2 two minute scene. Very impressed.
