Complete PPM(Project Portfolio Management) Training in ServiceNow
The ServiceNow® PPM Standard, earlier known as Project Portfolio Suite with Financials, application integrates Financial Management and Project Portfolio Management.
PPM Standard automatically activates Financial Management if it is not already active.
The integration enables project and portfolio managers to perform the following activities:
Determine overall cost requirements for all demands and projects in portfolios
Establish resource requirements and track costs for demands and projects
Track actual amounts spent compared to an approved budget
Upgrades and new customers
Customers who already have Project Portfolio Suite with Financials can upgrade to PPM Standard. New customers must purchase PPM Standard.
Agile project tasks can create Story,Epic, Theam. Story can assigned to sprint and sprint can be planing. Each story have 4 type of scrum task. Either story can be directly completed or once all scrum tasks completed project task will be automatically completed.

In simple terms PPM is the project management tool that falls within SPM. Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) is the suite of tools an organization uses to understand how and where to spend its money. Within the suite you have ideation, demand management, PPM (project management), Cost planning, Resource planning, managing programs, road mapping, and application portfolio management. PPM is great for managing projects, but SPM is a powerhouse tool for an organization's leadership to make decisions that have a lasting impact.
