I have to give my 2 cents. I bought this chair on Amazon & started a return 7/4/24 & yet still await a refund after 2 weeks. Quite frustrating to say the least! I was highly disappointed in several things. Now, this comes from a perspective of owning a previous Osaki massage chair a few years back, so I may sound petty or too picky to some folks. Anyway... For starters, I'm 5'10" 210 lbs, fairly broad shoulders. I felt compressed and it was too narrow for my arms to naturally get in without jimmying in. First, I want the chair to feel comfortable, even somewhat luxurious just getting in before anything starts. Anything similar to soft, Italian leather comfort. Well, it was not comfortable to me. It has some padding, but my gripe is you feel like your rear is exposed like on a toilet, it has nothing solid or smooth behind it. Some will not like the feeling of the rollers on your butt cheeks due to this. However, the chair once in gives a pretty reasonable massage. The SL rollers provide good force and adjustments can be made. Second gripe, the item claims a Thai stretch. Well, it does not function at all as a stretch mode. Broken? False advertising? I don't know, it simply does not work. Next, the Zero Gravity function is only one step. Others have 2 to 3 steps. This chair only appears to reach an angle of a Comfort Step, which is not near enough to feel flat. Hence, a Deep Step mode appears missing. Again, it may not be important to some, but it was a huge deal for me. I recall the Osaki chair reclining even further back in Deep mode, as if you were slightly suspended backward in a somewhat hanging upside down, medically known as Trendelenburg position. Maybe they are the only ones which angle back this far. I assumed all modern chairs reclined this far, but I was wrong. Very disappointed! Those are my gripes and I feel the chair falls short of my expectations. I will be buying another chair. I'm in consideration of the EASPearl now, as I hear it accommodates a wider range of persons in various sizes. If you are a broad fellow, taller than myself, or if any of these issues sound important to you, I recommend something else.
This is a completely unbiased review of an item you were paid to review. It is like saying that the people who pay the sports announcers to advertise an upcoming show will say anything bad about it. The chair looks good, and I'm sure it feels fine. I can't take a "professional opinion" from someone who got paid to say what they said. Also, you said you would see if it stood up to your professional standards, and you did not, so I'm assuming it doesn't hold up.
Just bought this today and can‘t wait for it to arrive. I‘ve only seen good reviews about it and I hope it will be a good addition to help me recover from my butt and lower back pain from sitting infront of the pc for half the day for years already. My body is finally starting to pay the toll. The gamer life 😅
For anyone who is aging, over 40; sit for long hours, truck drivers, police men, IT customer service, teachers, those who suffer from back pain, any sort of neuropathy, diabetes, circulatory issues, atheletes, construction workers, runners, old people or just highly stressed!
Just bought this chair right now on Amazon. They are giving a $250 discount for Black Friday and using your link code, I got an additional $85 off! Can’t wait to try the chair and thanks for the review!

There are so many buttons on the controller that are inscrutable and are not addressed in the manual. For example, there is a button named "Width". Width of what and why do I see no indication of change on the control panel. A source of detailed information on how to work these buttons and what they do would be very helpful , even essential as some of the things done by the chair are painful. Is that because I'm sore, I'm skinny, etc., and is there a way to reduce the intensity. I can't tell. I suspect the information is available there, but where?
Sister bought this against my advice. 1. A chair cannot massage you. It can only shake and vibrate a persons body. 2. The bix we recieved it in was damaged, which normally means someonenelse returned it. 3. After 1 day of use the chair stopped working and would not power on despite unassembling and reconnecting all wires. 4. Now im responsible for returning the chair and i havent yet checked if theres a restocking fee. 5. The chair is heavy and impractical to move. When you press against the front, the legs collapse backwards and the chair remains stationary. When you press against the back it folds forward without moving. You cannot lift the chair either. Please save yourself the time, money, and space, by seeking proffesional massage from a trained practicioner.

Any ideas where to buy parts ?(ie. a mainboard) Real Relax don't supply them, nor will direct you to anyone who does. This should be a BIG red flag for anyone looking to buy a Real Relax product.
Would you want to sit in insignia chair? I have always had to return any insignia products. Only the toaster works...sometimes I can't imagine trying to lug it back to best buy for a return
@@RehabRevive I already have the chair. I was considering returning and going for the insignia because I have a really bad taste in my mouth from Real Relax. I bought the chair for my parents who wanted a 3D chair because they wanted to be able to reduce the pressure. I bought this chair for them because it was advertised as a 3D chair. It was also advertised that it did a Thai stretch which it does not. The chair is a nice chair but I don’t like being mislead. I reached out to Real Relax and they ghosted me. They won’t even tell me where the serial number is on the chair lol. I want the serial number so I can insure the chair. The chair would be perfect for me because I like heavy pressure and wouldn’t need to lessen it. It’s just messed up though. They lie about what the chair is and now my parents are not going to pack up the chair and put it outside. You have to repackage the thing to return it and you have to keep that box for a year if you want them to honor the warranty.
Good question. Looks like the favor 6 seems to be their flagship as there is way more publicity online than the 8. And now they are rolling out the 9. We have the promocode for the favor 9 as well revive350 for $350 off
Let's say it is. Who cares? Ours is supposed to get delivered today. I used to sell massage chairs, and I've seen $10k massage chairs that had similar features, took a degree in astrophysics to assemble, and still used faux leather throughout. And top name brands aren't even necessarily reliable. I've sold both Osaki and Infinity, and they were plagued with service issues both in and out of the store. I'm seriously hoping this thing is the value I think it'll be.
The great advantage is two-fold, not having to trust a stranger not to mess-up in some way, and not having to let a stranger grope you. And I suppose there's no risk of them giving you any diseases they might have picked up from all their clients as well. But that's a far lesser risk in general.
Do you really believe massage therapists aren’t washing up in between clients and using clean sheets for each client that they would passing on diseases to you from other clients???? Seriously!! 🙄
