Hello everyone!
Today, i will show you some loadouts, weapons, accessories, armor to help you for your next rogue playthrough
This is maybe one of my biggest project yet so a sub to the channel will be very cool!

quick tip, aerialite got reworked to now spawn on sky islands, so don't look underground for it anymore... also, i think that aerialite slimes spawn in space aswell

if anyone's having trouble using the recommended weapons i suggest you guys do goblins army as soon as you enter hard mode and try to get a "burning strife" from goblin summoners this weapon would help you alot if you're a stealth user, its mostly useful for worm types bosses like aquatic scourge and destroyer

nah, get yourself a titan heart set then farm cryogen for kelvin catalyst. that thing shreds every single stuff until post plantera. the spent fuel container accessible after aquatic scourge is also really good for events and specifically the destroyer

@@cloakzyonosu847 maybe you need a better weapon/arena/potion/accessories setup or simply just a few more attempts to learn the pattern? make sure you aren't somehow enraging it, also warmth potion literally trivializes the fight. I dealt with cryo quite easily with a lionfish, prysmalline worked really well too. a dash/dodge accessory is also essential so make sure to slap in a shield of cthulhu or almalgamated brain, or even both, paired with a harpy ring and boots (preferably terraspark) for better mobility and you are good to go. most rouge accessories don't do much at this state of the game so i wouldn't wanna equip them for this fight. after getting your hand on the kelvin catalyst, everything until plantera becomes literal joke

for pre-Moonlord, you can remove Glove of Recklessness (you really shouldnt be getting that in the first place, Ruin medallion, Electricians Glove or Mirage Mirror wouldve been better) and make a Dark God's Sheath, using a Silencing Sheath, Ruin Medallion and 5 Meld Constructs from the ancient manipulator

For pre-Yharon I recommend getting the eclipse mirror instead of dark gods sheath. It combines the Dark gods Sheath and the abyss mirror together with 20 darksun fragments. Also the sealed singularity is an amazing weapon for d.o.g. Edit: yes I just realized they have it in scal/exo mechs

Raider's Talisman has a different effect, increasing your Crit after stealth striking for 5 seconds as it diminishes. It's awful now.

If you haven't tried to use wave pounder against DoG. I wished to use it earlier, like i spent 20+ attempts while using deepsea dumbbell and goulish gouger, and then i tried wave pounder i literally defeat in my next 4 attempts, the effort to get it is really worth it, combine it with accessory that boosts stealth like electrician's glove, then it will obliterate DoG, also very useful to farm the nightmare fuel, endothermic energy, and darksun fragments after you defeat DoG itself, basically useful for crowd control and multi segments boss.

in pre golem I think it would be better to use defective sphere, it gives 2500 DPS (Apart from the stealth strike, which is for a few seconds there at 4-5 thousand DPS)

to be fair duststorm in a bottle gave me 20k dps with umbraphile armor including the stealth strike without stealth strike its more around 6k-8k dps

There's a weapon called Sand Dollar that the Sea King sells after defeating Giant Clam - it's basically OP (800+ damage on stealth strikes) and can carry you to WoF without a problem.

If you want to "cheese" most of hardmode you should probably get the Blazing Star, deals 3x1200+ damage with a good stealth focused build. It is early hardmode obtainable and can carry you up to when you get the terra disk (which is also insanely good). And if you're having trouble with moonlord, I'll recomend defeating the astral worm a couple of times for the Regulus Riot, it cuts through Moon Lord like butter

The raider's talisman unfortunately got nerfed so I recommend using the sand cloak/silencing sheath/filthy glove

for endgame i prefer to use the auric tesla armor for its stealth with the Scarlett devil. it shredded the entirety of boss rush and i did it first try.

I would reccomend the gleaming blade as it is the sinlge best rouge weapon, from my experience, up till perferators/ hivemind, and you get it pre-boss with a pretty cheap recipe, it works great wheather you are spamming or stealth stiking, though another good alternative for a couple bosses (read mainly scourge) the poison pack is decent but can be inconsistent.

U can kill the giant clam or regular clams to get the wave skipper with stealth strikes do 379 damage depending on ur build so you'll probably want to get that pre mechs

In post ravager stage it have a really good weapon that drop by ravager and it is corpus avertor(if you use it dont do stealt strike cuz it will remove half of your hp so just spam it )

In my playthrough, I skipped a lot of weapon because I managed to kill Aquatic Scourge, Tier 2 Acid rain and Anahita&Leviathan and use their weapons pre hardmode.

17:05 I went through all of that, and only got ONE CONGRATULATION!!!!! I deserve at least two for going through all of that effort to get a rock. I also just noticed that you aren't using your recommended weapon for s-cal, instead, you are using the wrathwing. pro tip : if u are lucky enough in layer 2 abyss there is a enemy called cuttle fish and if u kill him he has a 1% chance to drop ink bomb

i literally killed one cuttlefish and it dropped killed another a few mins later and it dropped my buddy killed one roughly 5 hoursish after that and got one its not that rare its like a 10% i think

i would think so as the stealth hits are very op in some situations but i would keep menacing or warding wether you are still lacking damage/defense

Personally I would use 50/50 silent/menacing, if you have an odd number of slots I would put extra in silent.

nice guide, although many of the descriptions seem to be off or missing something. I would say outdated, but Lightning boots for example doesn't mention the Rocket Boots effect at all.

I recommend warding on your accessories, but you can go for silent if you want more stealth generation. For rogue weapons, flawless will always be the best modifier. With the new reforge rework in calamity you will always get Flawless on your 6th reforge for rogue weapons.

Pin this so people dont have to go through what I have, pre yharon use the Nanotech, Vampiric Talisman, Blunder Booster, Silva Wings, Venerated Locket, Asgardian Aegis, and Core of the Blood God with God Slayer Armor and God's paranoia as your main weapon, and the executioners blade :)

Pre Lunatic I recommend the Defective Sphere, or the Epidemic Shredder. Monkey Darts, and the Blazing Star are also Great.

compared with the other class i deal 0 dmg,can someone explain me how the hell shoul i play this class? its cool but i don't understand the point of doin stealth strikes if any other class can deal huge damage just with a weapon or a summon :/

idk why people shit on rouge so much it's one of the only classes that can do 20k dps consistently without buffs pre moonlord or at least that i know of maybe summoner or gunner can do it but i'm not sure for example i use rouge and i can consistently output 20k dps with the subduction slicer on grounded enemies of course cause stealth strike op af and 10k dps with malanchite without and buffs with buffs it looks more like 25k dps with subduction slicer and 12k for malanchite

Doesnt seem like you can get Asgard's Valor pre golem since you need a Core Of Calamity to craft it which isnt available at that point in the game.

i think the wiki is fine, although the guide classes page may be a tiny bit off. if you're using the fandom wiki that's your issue :p you have to go to the 2nd or 3rd+ link for the calamity wiki (not fandom lol)

I dont like guides that jump over major progression bosses like EOW, you should show a best gear setup before every major boss... EOW, WOF, plantera, etc. Bosses that unlock huge upgrades such as new ores or strong weapons/accs jumping from preboss to preperforators/hivemind skips so much new weapons and accessories that the guide doesnt actually help at all for any of the bosses you skipped...

is demonshade better than tesla? i have been comparing and i do more damage with tesla armor. with ravager and scarlet devil: Tesla: 5 hits Demonshade: 9 hits 4 hits more to beat ravager

Depends on what you plan to use the armor. The demonshade is more versatile while tesla is used when you specifically damage. I would personally use demonshade :)

Tesla gives hella survivability, especially for boss rush, I'd say it's better if you focus on crits and stealth rather than dps and movement speed

But if I recall correctly, if you wear the Eclypse Mirror you get a stealth meter even with Demonshade armor. Not 100% sure though
