I do so enjoy the banter during these "shop vids" whether it's "Mr. Millennial" (I know... NYAM) or MBTS. It's truly amazing you get anything done. lol

Twenty years ago Takeuchi offered two models...the TL130 and TL150. I owned a TK150. They then introduced the TK140. The oil change kit included an L shaped plastic drain drain hose that screwed on to the oil drain. The hydraulic oil was a 15w40 engine oil. Thanks for sharing....memories.

My boss has a pretty ingenious setup for filters, seals and common parts. He has a pretty good stock on hand. We use a filter, rip the part number off the box, and put it in a pile. Then we reorder them from the parts store or supplier. Works well, except somehow we have got extra filters. Think people ordered replacements and didn't throw away the numbers

If you turn that 5 gallon jug with the pour spout at noon apposed to 6 pm it will not " lug" like so. Lug equals a interrupted stream with sucking air. Put the fill spout on top it will flow smoothly.

Hilarious when you and Aaron get together, I am so glad that Buba Dump is coming in for some much needed Love.

Once upon a time, somebody may invent some replacement for the drain bolt. Some valve with a wheel and thread (not merely twisted 90° to open or close), mounted on the end of some piece of hose (in order to be lying on the bottom plate of the piece of equipment). It could be retrofitted anywhere by replacing the drain bolt with a gland, as long as the thing doesn't conflict with the bottom plate (or anything else, but that goes without saying). - Somebody may even devise a container that can be mounted onto that valve, to prevent oil from spilling over the workshop floor (or the soil of the spot where the piece of equipment had been left years before). - Both the valve and the container could be scaled up for marine engines: any sailor against a cleaner bilge? (I have used Wikipedia to jump from articles in Dutch to the corresponding ones in English.)

Love the comedy aspect of you two together ... I think a new project should be MBTS needs to make 2 steps 1 new one to replace the lil pink one as it's not doing well in the weather and a step for in the shop. There is enough small pieces of steel for the new steps

The “lock” on the hydraulic tank cap is a pressure release hex screw and safety as the hydraulic system is pressurised. Info for next time. Thanks for the banter fellas.

with the oil filter you would have to look but it might be possible to get parts and set it up as a remote oil filter, so its more convenient

Other than coffee nearly coming out of my nose a couple of times from laughter... great video! Don't know if I've mentioned this before, but my Father-in-Law (who had farming equipment for years) told me the best time to grease the machines (tractors, balers, etc.) was at the end of the workday. The equipment was warm and took grease more readily. Also, it was ready for work the next time needed, even if it was cold and frozen outside! Thanks for the fun! Be well, be safe!

Mr Dirt Perfect, look into changing out your anti-freeze to the red stuff. With the green you need to be using SCA additives, and monitoring the Nitrates & Nitrites. This applies to diesel engines. Hate to see the 120 develop a leak down low on a cylinder liner. Had a lot of fun watching you two.
