Hello, how to use lsfg in ryujinx? When i press f11, lsfg can't see ryujinx, if i don't press f11, i see Ryujinx interface in bottom and top, and black borders
See, this is the problem with RU-vid. Go to one video and you will come to know - "you gotta limit your frames first", go to the other one - "you gotta run it as an administrator". Why can't authors put everything into one single video?! What's the matter?!
people aren't perfect, and the quality of an informative youtube video is always limited by the knowledge of the videos creator; much like how the characters in a book are only as intelligent as the author is. in short, it wasn't included because the creator didn't know.
Question i got a 144hz should i lock the fps 72fps for 2x or 48 for 3x or is that not necessary? If my pc can handle for example 80fps can i lock it there?
Always choose the higher lock, with the lower multiplier, if possible. Not only will the quality be better, but you get more latency than the locked fps would be. I haven't measured LSFG, but the latency in your examples would probably be similar to a native 30 fps for the X3 example, and 55-60 for the X2 example. For a game that timings or animations were made for 30 or 60, I would choose 60 X2, but it would need you to switch to 120hz for the best experience.
Question: if i have a 60hz moniter and I play a Triple A game on High settings and Im getting 40fps can lossless scaling (Active in game) give me The needed 20fps to run the game for a smooth experience? I'm now realizing that lossless scaling is best used on moniters above 60 Fps. I would like to use lossless scaling to gain more fps on Games that require a more high end graphics card just to run. Thank you My moniter samsung ue590 28 Gpu Rx 5500 xt 8gb
Hey man, I tried to play GoW3 on rpcs3 but I only get around 5-10 fps so lossless scaling wouldn't make any sense to use. How do you crank it up to around 30? Is there a good way to set it up?
Every time I've tried using this app it feels really odd whenever I turn the camera, something about the screen looking more skipping I guess? What am I doing wrong?
I have been trying Lossless scaling on plutonium launcher (free call of duty). One of the games i play mw3 i typically get avg 130fps on medium to low settings. When i use Lossless scaling it literally makes everything worse i go from 130 to 50 or 88 fps and sometimes the lossless app will dissapear and my game will be locked at 60fps when i fullscreen it. Need explanation or help please.
@@DragonOfTheMortalKombat I think the emulator does the duplicating to make it 60fps but the games internally still run at their original frame rate of (usually) 30fps. That’s why it’s an option that can be disabled.
why are you using this with such old games. Can we not use it with newer games? I tried these settings with minecraft, DayZ, GTAV and the performance was worse than my own driver settings and it was so choppy.
I do all settings set you said only 1 left is preferred gpu this my cause when i start scaling my actual game fps gose 60 to 9 fps lossless scaling is work opposite but when i select my gpu in preferred gpu my gps got. Double 60 to 120fps in my laptop 💻 Thanks for all this settings
for me, when i enable lossless scaling, i just lose a bunch of fps. for example, i start with 40fps, i enable scaling, i drop to like 35fps, and when i enable lsfg 2x my base drops to like 15fps and then it doubles to 30fps, no matter what settings i use in game, or in the program or if its gpu bottleneck or cpu bottleneck, i always lose like half the fps. I tried to disable scaling, i still lose like 2/3 the fps when enabling frame gen. I tried this on 2 computers aswell, one high end and one low end
@@muha7408 i haven't found the solution but ill lyk if i do

@@snowball1792 You will always lose some FPS as this program still needs to use your gpu to work, it's whole thing is about taking 20% of your gpu power to output 100% more fps, so you go from 40fps to 30fps then double that to 60fps.
its almost like you didn't even read my comment, I go from like 40fps down to 15fps even when im not even gpu bottlenecked. So 15fps double to 30fps when originally i had 40fps. that makes no sense

@@snowball1792 Thats beyond the point, i was saying you will always reduce your base fps, now the thing of how much dependes on what configuration you are using, i know in my gpu, if i use anime4k at ultra large and 3x, my gpu consumption goes to 100% effectively cutting down my fps to like 5 base, so this configuration is not usable for me.
If your game is at 70 FPS, the program will stabilize it at 60, and if your game is at 60, it will stabilize it at 50 FPS, and if your game is at 50, it will stabilize it at 40 FPs, but why can’t you get the same frame rate?

I have a 1080p monitor with 60 HZ refresh rate. GPU is RX6600 XT. Cpu i5 12400F I can almost always keep the 60 FPS without Lossless scaling, but i would like to use it to save Watts power consumption. So i should set the FPS limit to 30 FPS, use 2X option and Windowed full screen mode, correct?
30FPS is not an ideal base frame rate and 6600xt is a decently powerful GPU. 1080p 60hz is very low, maybe consider upgrading you monitor higher refresh rate vrr options.
I wouldn't say that you should always use DXGI. In your last video about LS you showed Tears of the Kingdom and there were visual glitches at the bottom of the screen as soon as link started running, maybe tearing or sth. else. WGC gets rid of them.
@@shotofchillThe default capture api for Framegen in Lossless Scaling is DXGI, WGC is the second one and can have less latency according to the devs but doesn't work well with VRR and compatibility is worse I think. DXGI is probably better in most cases but as I said there can be outliers.
For some reason I don’t see the tearing option. Also, I have drop downs like sync mode, max frame latency, etc. that I didn’t see on your screenshot. Maybe I have the updated version?
Thanks for the video! I have one question, I do have a 60hz 4k tv and I see that Lossless Scaling won't go further than 60fps. I also noticed that gameplay is fluid only if I limit my actual fps to 30. If I try setup like 40, 45 fps its laggy. So is there any another fps values I can setup beside 30 fps? My gpu is capable delivering 40-45 fps and I just want to get to 60fps via frame generation and avoid that lag
I think in your case, try limiting it between 35 and 40 FPS and using the x2 preset. This way, you'll have an almost insignificant delay while still enjoying fluid frames, since your PC can deliver at least 40.
I definitely want to play Bayonetta again I forgot I have I have it the time I played audio was out sync with constant stutters and it ruined my experience I've been using this on Horizon Forbidden west
Could you elaborate the resolution scale section mate? Because I still got no clue whether should I leave it auto or do some tinkering like my mates do, somehow they put 2x scale. Anyways, appreciate it 👍
Not related but has anyone tried the Intel GPU's with emulation? With the price of GPU still hovering around the absurd was curious how they might perform in an emulation only build
pls help i have 8gb ram and amd a12-9800 cpu with its integrated gpu the amd radeon r7 graphics but on any game i use lossles scaling i get worse fps for example fortnite i putted the res on 640 x 480 and i did the scaling automatic and amd fsr i did lsfg 2.1 and 2x but i get even worse fps than before
Your computer is just too weak to handle it properly. Also you should never use frame multiplying techniques on competitive games. It adds too much latency.
@@kennaee yeah after some research I did find it out on old games it worked but with much latenzy and really old shitty games so I just refunded it thx for the reply

There are two tutorials directly on the LS Discord. I tried both for several days without success, so I ended up using an external capture card. I know that with AMD software, it records normally, but with Nvidia Shadow and OBS, I couldn't get it to work in any way.
@@AlexwpiGame thank you for your video. I use it for zelda totk very great. You may help me. On my notebook losslessscaling run great. But on my tv samsung 120 hz, Losslessscaling is buggy: I ve 5 fps in totk for exemple. 5 fps always. Any idea?
Main thing about it is that you need atleast consistent frames so once you cap your game at a consistent frame then you can use x2 or x3 to multiple your frames
@@SwordDestin it also depends what hz your tv is cause of its like 60 and you cap it at 30 then it cap allocate the rendered frames to all the slots if its even then it won’t be true fps for whatever you want
My question is why my in game fps drops to half ? I get 200fps shit drops down to 70 and add tons of input lag scalless says 200fps but visually doesn’t show it I feel like this is a scam fr
I thought I would hate it too. Recently tried Remnant 2 and decided to try frame generation from inside the game and I honestly see no errors with it. I have a 360hz monitor and use most of my time playing CS at locked 360hz/360 fps so I thought I would notice every artifact and latency increase but nope, don't notice it lol. Crazy how good technology is nowdays.

So.... what's the benefits? I mean if your game is not running on 30 fps then you probably cannot use it as your gpu will already be using 100% and as you said this thing needs 25% of my gpu so what is the benefit?
dont use this on a emulator..... the games are still rendered in low fps and this programm automatically lowers the framerate too, its even worse on games which are bound to the fps are instantly slow because they render in 30fps in the background. there are also games which starts to lag below a certain fps or doing unespected behavior.
