You’ve outdone yourselves again - your dining area looks insane… the kind that gets featured in interiors magazines. Beautiful and calming - love the aesthetic of your home.
I don’t drink so a bar cart would be a bit useless as Simon only has whiskey in the house at Christmas. We don’t want to put something there for the sake of it, we’d like it to be something we will actually use if we do ever put something there x
lovely of course! instead of a chair in that alcove (seeing as the living room is adjacent already) what about a bar cart? you don't have to style bar carts with booze, you can keep a pitcher of water, extra napkins, coffee/tea fixings (is there an outlet, maybe an electric kettle?) more or less, a nice station for dining extras that is even closer than the kitchen.
Yeh a bar car has been suggested but I just don’t think we would use it. I don’t really like having things out on display so if we went for any kind of additional storage it would be a fully closed/covered small unit/sideboard so that anything is hidden away. That said, we don’t actually need any extra storage so we’re in no rush to put anything in the alcove just for the sake of it x
well done...the room looks so beautiful and elegant. you two are just wonderful....love you both. ❤ I am a new subscriber from California and absolutely have been hooked on watching all your vidoes. Would love to see more of Simon in your current videos.
It is absolutely stunning !!! I love so much the mix between wood of this beautiful table, the nice chairs and these organic/earth/sweet/muted colors of the curtains and the fabrics on the table and the dishes !! And the real plants give a perfect touch of green ,truly I adore 🥰👍 Thank you for sharing this beautiful area, I wish you a good sunday, bises😉😘👍
Emma and Simon, this dining space is so inviting and calm. It gives me a little scandish vibe with all those neutral and wood pieces..so beautiful! I'm sure you both will have wonderful moments with friends and family around the table..❤
It looks really beautiful, Emma. We also have an Australian Ash timber table and we really love the colour, so light and airy and we also have a small buffet type cupboard in the same finish to store our plates, cutlery, glassware etc. Everything you and Simon put together is truly beautiful. Hugs for those cute pups of yours 🐶
What an outstanding job you’ve both done ! Loved your last house, a lot of which inspired me & am now about to move so lookout for a copy cat version of yours In Perthshire, Scotland 😂
Hi Emma. As always, such a beautiful space, so simple but really chic. I really love your taste in decor and also your narrative which is so descriptive but useful. Another great refurbishment and your home is really fabulous.💖🌸
Really clean lines, very calming. Love it! I'm taking note of the click to go blinds, never seen those before and the leaded weights for the curtain. I also love the designer radiator 🤩 In the alcove I would put either a chair or a little console table, depending on your needs.
Yes to all. Wow This was the hardest project I believe but the result is rewarding! I cannot believe that the previous owners had that awkaward unused space behind the dinning room but anyway, you took the project and this is much better. Great job guys. Even thow I'm not fun of linen and earthy tones I love your work and the way you combine everything. 👏👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤
It could have been down to cost, they only lived here for 5 years so might not have had the funds to change that as they did do a kitchen extension which would have been costly x
Amazing 🤩. Can’t believe you guys aren’t professionals! And the technology for your blinds - love it. Will look to see if they ship to 🇨🇦. On a side note - HI 👋 to your Mom 😊.
It looks lovely, totally in keeping with your aesthetic and that ash table is gorgeous. Wishing you lots of happy times around the gorgeous space you’ve created 🤍
I don’t really want anything fixed as then you’re stuck with it, and I’m not sure I’d sit on a window seat, but I might use a chair as they’re more comfortable x
Wow its absolutely naturally stunning, just love the finished look of the dining room, well done to you both... Hugs from Donna xx 💕 here on the Wirral 🏡
Lovely ❤ perfect space, just as we would expect. Great idea to weight the curtains, thank you for the info re the blinds great recommendation one I considered but hadn’t know how good they were, thank you x
Hi Emma. I've been waiting in anticipation of this video and it definitely doesn't disappoint! What a gorgeous space! It's odd but I wouldn't have picked out the pattern on the rug as one that would have appealed to your aesthetic but it works beautifully in the space. It was definitely worth knocking through that little room to enlarge the whole. I love the table and chairs too - beautifully made and understated and blends in with your coffee table in the living room area. Wonderful taste all round! With love to you, Simon and the Bs. X
