This is honestly very hard for me to upload because I'm so used to repeating myself and then cutting out the first version... here's me without ANY OF THAT!

I have never commented on a RU-vid video, but after seeing this, I felt I needed to. Tea, this video here shows the strength of people who stutter. I know this couldn't have been easy to record or upload but by doing so, it is not weakness. This is pure courage here. I really commend and admire you for being so open and free about your stutter, edit or no edit. This is just incredible and I've been watching your videos for a while now and I can so relate to the struggle of wanting to get it right, of not having to repeat, but sometimes I feel that takes more effort than it's worth. It comes down to how you feel about it and what your preferences are. Edit or no edit, I will always continue watching your videos because I just love the positive attitude you have about yourself, about your life and goals. These are things I am just trying to gain myself and I feel with every video you upload, I have another step forward to doing so. So thank you for that and please don't ever feel insecure about uploading any of your videos. Stutter a little, stutter a lot, edit some, edit a lot or not at all. It does not matter. No matter what, you'll always be loved by the stuttering community! We all share it, we all bare it despite our best efforts to conceal it, but in the end, we are all strong people whether we stutter a little or stutter a lot. I never forget that.

My stutter is exactly like you describe and show Your honesty and courage in this video is truly inspiring. I’m a covert stutterer but after watching this video, worts and all, I’d take wort version any day. I’m inspired to show my worts to the world too. Thank you for letting me see the real you. Too answer a question you asked, yes, anxiety drives my stutter. If I an anxiety free, I don’t stutter at all.

I have a tip that works alot for me. Try this please: Do the prolonged "mmm" and "nnn" in the morning. First full force, then normal prolonged. Then just talk with the prolongation that is created with the sound. When you talk, feel that there is vibration in your head. Also, keep a fluent mindset in your mind, that is, try to make your conversations flow like water (use vibration that that was generated by the humming sound u practiced in the morning). Take meaningful pauses in between, just try to break the sentence into phrases and then connect them together with the help of the flow of vibrating sound. Practice, it works. There would be setbacks, but overall it helps alot, trust me.

You were speaking fluently in the starting but when u started stuttering on specific word on which u probably think that u will stutter,it keeps repeating. And thus increasing ur consciousness on ur words even make it more worse. That's the fear only, but you are brave enough...Gd luck

Dear girl, you are a hero and a treasure! I think putting this video out was the bravest thing. I stutter more when I'm anxious too for sure, for me it's that i talk entirely too fast and when i start tumbling, it's hard to steer away. I believe that the difference between us(stutterers) and the others, is that our speech becomes unstable and out of control in case any tiny strain is imposed on us. Strain leads to anxiety, and anxiety in return creates our stutter. Non-stutterers also suffer from stuttering, but only in the case when they are super nervous. In contrast, as I said before, any single strain will make us out of control on our speech. for example, when I want to tell someone an important thing, because in this situation I am under strain I usually stutter. Non-stutterers do not stutter at all in these situations.

I used to think that I delt with anxiety well but as it turns out that's actually one of the main causes for my stutter. I could be talking perfectly with a friend but as soon as I notice people around me I start to stutter. I think a lot of it has to do with not caring about what people think about you in public spaces

To answer you about mine. I developed one in Iraq. When I wake up I'm ok for about an hr, then it gets worse. Public speaking (anything over 2 people) is bad, but I don't like crowds. In emergencies ironically I don't but that's because I use my "sound powered phone" voice. After the emergency, forget it.

Very brave Tea, I admire you. Yes, same for me anxiety. Recently I read that they find a root cause of stuttering it's a reduced blood flow in some specific part of the brain. Of course anxiety and stress make the problem worse. But don't loose hope guys, we can train our brains too.

Beautiful speaking! I believe we all feel the lack of control over our speaking. "Regular" people also have glitches and speech impediments, but they know that they control their speaking flow overall and can come back to the confident speaking. So, that lack of control is the cause of the anxiety. We're sane people so that anxiety doesn't come just out of the blue. Our body and mind already "know" from previous experiences that we lack control and the muscle and emotional memory creates anticipation, fear, and anxiety. Now, that state of anticipation of stuttering and anxiety, in turn, for sure facilitates stuttering. And we often feel that this anxiety is the cause of the speech impediments. So, my point is that the most profound way to remove that anxiety is to bring control to our speaking on a very physical level.

For man, if he stutter, he could get a job like driver, cook, whatever he can avoid to talk. But, for woman, it's not easy and I feel very sorry about that issue. For you, I hope you can overcome with your stuttering. I know it's not easy, but who know? Within a few years, somebody gonna make some kind of device or chip going into human's body making you not to stutter completely. I think it will come out for sure very soon.

I love your channel I stutter too. I think that I stutter in a simmilar way as you because I can also speak fluent when I'm relaxed but when I'm stessed it gets way worse. When I think about it I'm OK with the fact that I stutter. I even feel quite special. But still when I talk to someone and I stutter I feel embarrased. :(

Tea, it seems like you care too much about your stuttering. You have to let go and don't care what others think about you when you stutter. That is the most important thing. Once you do, you will eventually talk fluently and more relaxed. Stuttering is a habit created by caring too much about what other people think about our speech, thus we try to consciously control our speech instead of speaking spontaneously like fluent speakers do, and that creates repeating syllables and blocks. Obviously, if you try to speak spontaneously right now, with already "damaged" neuropaths, you will eventually fail and create another stuttering incident and a memory of it. You have to work a lot on your fear and anxiety of speaking in front of people. What helped me a lot was reading aloud slowly to my girlfriend, as best I could. After just couple sessions, my fear significantly dropped and I noticed a pretty big difference in speaking to strange people as well - suddenly I had almost no issues making small-talk to merchants or any stranger on a phone, something I have always had issues with. Blocks are however a completely different thing. Being relaxed usually doesn't help with blocks, or just very little. What I do is to write down all words I blocked on plus the previous word (you may only block on a specific word with a specific syllable in previous word), then read them aloud every day (you must not stutter). After couple days, you can try to read them aloud to someone close to you. This will eventually destroy your blocks. This training is not for specific words, but rather specific syllables that you block on. It will take a lot of time and practice, but you will eventually start improving just like me ;)

When I talk to my self or to someone like my friends or my family I don't usually stutter because I know that they konw about my stutter and they will not joke about it but when I talk to strangers I fell so nervous and I start thinking that I am going to stutter and I do stutter because of that so yes I think my stutter is caused by my anixity but knowing that does not actually help because now I have to deal with stuttering and anixity, lol

Wow that has never been done good for you. Giving away your personal life has to be hard for anyone. I did some of this on my channel as well part of my autism story is on there. What I did was block the comments on the videos that included just about me and left the comments on the ones that explained autism as a whole. You do want your character to come out, to show the world as you really are. You're just very cautious about the insults. But like you said this remains Teah, the whole Teah and nothing but the Teah lol

I think in the beginning, we should be more practice speaking techniques, this will give us a sense of confidence support, then we should be more, or all of the focus on what we want to say, on the content.we should not pay more attention to the phonation, just relax your mind and body, and try not let the body nervous which can interfere the freedom of the vocal cords in the back of throat, focus on what you want to express.I think we don't stutterring when we singing 、alone, speaking to our pet. Because we don't think we're a stutter at that moment,we don't go to think or struggle in how to take a sound out. believe me, our articulation have no problem.the problem just something in our mind, that lead to fear, body tension, come to a kind of habit. Stuttering is not something shame, take it easy.

Tea talk, hi at first you were able to speak few minutes with out stuttering then once you started to it got worse, just looking at your body language it seem your nerves kick in, maybe next time when ever you stutter stop think calm your nerves try again because I feel when ever you stutter you only teach your brain that behavior to repeat the same words you get stuck on this time just stop, calm your nerves, then think what you gonna say then try again practice makes perfect. Anyway good work.
