There is a manual swap plug and play harness that has your neutral safety switch, reverse lights, and gear indicator light (if you've got that) and it's relatively inexpensive

Hey robbie you should probably get a starter for the manual if your using the automatic starter the number of teeths may be different and the sound the starter makes when it turning the engine could damage it went through something similar with a corolla and a 4AGE black top the flywheel was for a silver top and that small difference caused the starter to go bad after a while

Great job. Just a heads up. Had the TT version of this years ago. Pushing 450 BHP. Common issues I found were weak lower wishbones. Hit a pot hole and they can bend/split. I believe there is an aftermarket stronger version. Also Poly bush the suspension. The PTU (Power Transistor Unit), relocate from the front of the engine (cam cover area) to somewhere cooler. Sometimes the solders lift inside and you have a car that won't start at the side of the road. They brought out a series 2 PTU to solve this, but many complained they had same issues of non start when car was hot as under the hood gets hot and she won't start until cooled down and solders reconnect inside the PTU. Two small fuel lines at front of the engine sometimes go brittle and leak.

I had to stay patient and committed today haha I was changing out both front end CV axels on my 96 impreza and they have push pins in them that you have to remove AND re install. Went hard and got it done though💪🏼

the funnier part, is there are 2 version of the 9-99 z32 clutch pedal also, one for na car and one for tt car. one uses a clutch booster behind dash (TT_ and the NA does not. z32 was DEF over engineered

Dude, this sounds like my when I had my V6 Firebird straight piped for a minute when the cat was clogged. I honestly love it because it's total opposite sleeper effect. Sounds like muscle with no go 😂

That is a z think I put new slave cylinder master cylinder everything in my z31 but the clutch master does point the wrong way I put aisr clutch cable it is steel braided with the yellow nylon plastic coating over it and it does point the wrong way you write it down and under the master and over-the-top of the trans down over the passenger side of the trans down to the slave cylinder it is kind of weird I thought also I've actually got to pull my trans out this coming weekend to put my fidanza 11lb flywheel and clutch kit in

The reason your master and slave cylinder placement seem so impractical is because like most Japanese cars of that age they were originally designed as right hand drive cars - so on a right hand drive z the master and slave would be in a straight line from one another.

Great vid, I'm curious how much did the whole swap cost you ?

There’s supposed to be an inch or so of play on the pedal before you start to feel tension, set it anywhere else and the clutch may not fully engage/disengage and prematurely wear

Neutral safety switch, just like a Park Neutral lock out switch on an auto, keeps you from turning a car on when clutch is not pressed

I can actually say that you can beat on an auto. Had a 91 dodge dakota that was auto. Blew the motor on it doing burnouts, doughnuts and speeding in. Blew the pistonrings and heads.
