I imagine that the Robin achievement was to show a beginner the properties of both a gentleman and a rapid jab. Both of Robin's are drastically different, with the gentleman killing a lot sooner. It's not clear how a beginner would figure out the difference on their own tho.

@@luiselaspirantealacomedia3154 Oops. Nvm. It explicitly states flurry attack and against a level 9 CPU. I thought it was a baby achievement for kids since the next one Nick did was simply use down B as Incineroar and smash attack.

as someone who completed all achievements, completed calssic mode with all characters except sora in 1 and 2 player, and was bored a lot in quarantine, i can give you a valuable tip: if you ever use gold or a ticket to continue a classic mode, you'll max get a 9.8. every time. easiest classic mode to do it with is wolf in my opinion

To me the easiest classic route is young link: there is only one annoying horde battle (against 4 YLs), but all the others are 1v1, and you can easily gimp ganon and some others. The boss is also not very hard, beast ganon rarely hits behind him

I hope Nick continues with this series; grinding out the milestones was one of the first things I did when I got Smash Ultimate back in 2018 since I never managed to get them all in Brawl or Smash 4, so it's fun to see someone doing this 3 years later and checking out all the cool side stuff we ignore in Smash.

Yeah, some the challenges are just really arbitrary, like the meteor smash one. These challenges don’t really feel like you can earn them without trying to get them, unlike previous game’s challenges, which usually had fewer examples of that. Seriously, Ken’s Century Smash Specials only challenges is dumb.

Most of them are just "oh, you happen to have done something specific? Cool, here's a reward!" but about 10-20% are actual challenges you are very unlikely to get without trying to.

For the 20-hit combo challenge, you can cheat by picking any character, putting the opponent at 999%, grabbing him and just pummel it frickin' 100 times

funny thing, uh if you do pounds (the attacks you do while grabbing an opponent [grab, then attack]) with the opponent at 999%, uh, you can easily get the 20 continuous hits.

Fun fact, the down throw to down-b trick no longer works as his down-b was patched to be considered a grab and attack. It was patched out due to the K.Rool's and Ridley's wanting to "do a little bit of trolling".

Did you know if you set the npc to 999% you can grab them and every pummel counts as a true combo. I put lucy with a max combo of 69 this at best gets to 100. Also, using more cheese my villager has a max combo of 8764

smash ultimate is definitely going to be running dry on content eventually, I think its been long enough for everybody to loop back around again. also, I think the fact that there has been so much content just out of online play alone shows how long lasting this game is, I have played for 595 hours and I have never been bored.
