Its Very nice, but I do know that she's not really singing this live right then and there. She's lip syncing to her fully edited and fully mixed recording. I've worked in recording studios for many years. There's no way this would sound this perfect and clean in a bed room set up with the quality you are hearing even if her mic was set up to good quality speakers, plus the music itself is to clean and vibrant, plus she would need to have an engineer to work the sound mix for this to sound that good. I also do think she's using pitch correction to. Of course this dose not mean she can't sing.

This is quite shocking, actually. Allie Sherlock’s voice does not require pitch correction. Whoever is responsible for doing or sanctioning this should think again!

@@frankathl1 Its most likely the recording engineer she hired who would use a pitch correction. Its not to big a deal if its not over used, lots of singer end up using a pitch correction to an extent.

Pitch correction overkill. Any pitch correction/ autotune ruins an artist's credibility as a singer to most other REAL singers and fans of REAL music. This was dreadful to listen to. She's getting bad guidance.

A lovely cover, but please don't anyone think this is live, it's pre recorded, autotuned/pitch corrected...and obviously lip synched. I do wish people wouldn't push videos out like this pretending to be in their bedroom and nocking out stuff like this in 1 take. I'd have far more respect if artists did sing live in their promo videos so we can enjoy the uniqueness of their voice rather than produce something that to all intents and purposes sounds like it comes of a record label production line.

I really appreciate the sound guy who did this! It's a good combination of pre-produced tracks and heavily voice corrected singing The engineer deserves an award. Not so sure if Mrs Sherlock can really sing, but - impressive display of editing powers here!

As an avid music lover, I am very taken with Allie Sherlock's interpretation of the Avril Levine song "Complicated". Her performance is extremely emotional and she seems to give herself completely to the song. Her infectious playing manages to immerse the listener in an atmosphere as if she were performing in her bedroom. Her radiant smile and joy for music are very contagious and add to the special experience. There is something magical about Allie's art of bringing songs to life in her own way that always touches me as a listener. Unfortunately, I found that Allie used the playback technique for this video. I hope she finds her way back to her authentic live performances in the future, where her unique voice and musicality take centre stage. The dubbing in this case detracts somewhat from the emotional impact for me. Nevertheless, Allie remains an impressive artist with a lot of potential. Her music continues to inspire me and I look forward to future performances where she expresses her creativity and skill unfiltered. 🤔😥

The song "Complicated" by Avril Lavigne, which Allie interprets so incredibly beautifully, expresses above all the message that you should be true to yourself and your values, even if peer pressure from outside wants to change you. Lavigne sings about how superficial and insincere the "complicated" world of adults and coolness rules seems. Instead, she pleads for appreciating simple pleasures and staying true to yourself. The line "Why do you have to go and make things so complicated?" expresses her appeal not to give in to the urge to conform and complicate. In the verses, Lavigne describes concrete situations in which people pretend. The simple, catchy song was enormously successful as a youthful anthem for individuality and authenticity. It struck a chord with a generation growing up under increasing pressure to perform and project their image. The central message is: No matter what others say or expect, stay true to yourself and your values. Rejoice in the simple things. Be yourself, even if it contradicts expectations. Live your life as uncomplicated as possible.

Sure it’s playback! Or do you see a piano in the room? It’s sad, but the high quality of Allie’s album is obviously not sufficient for some people to be attracted. So they seem to need a nice video too. People eat with their eyes too. 😢😂

In this case, the soundtrack detracts somewhat from the emotional impact for me. Nevertheless, Allie remains an impressive artist who inspires me and I look forward to future performances where she expresses her creativity and skill unfiltered.

This is completed edited, I'm a pro engineer and this has without a doubt been pitch corrected. For anyone out there thinking you can't sing keep in mind this is not the live performance it has been majorly edited.

These covers sung by Allie Sherlock allowed me to pay attention to many great songs that I had overlooked in the past because I was no longer interested in popular music after my youth. What's more, Allie Sherlock very rarely does not match the original, and very often it is Her performance that allows me to hear "what it's about" in a given song.

@@jonnyz5772 @jonnyz5772 I prefer her live recordings in the street. Some are published by spectators. I particularly like her voice, which seems unique to me. Some sound effects (like reverberation) added here are not necessary in my opinion. Original Allie sounds better
