If you’ve never picked up a set of comply eartips they’re basically made of this squishy foam - and the idea is that they expand in your ear, creating a perfect, custom seal every time.
Well with the perfect seal, I noticed that the soundstage was increased quite a bit, expanding the stereo field and giving instruments and sounds more space to breathe. Also, bass and active noise cancellation is greatly improved - which makes sense because you’re getting a much deeper seal.
