Fun fact: I'm at the park today with other neighbors walking my dog and there we are, the 12 of us, in masks, gloves, six feet apart, and full LA drama trying to sing this song. We were so terrible that several dogs began to howl. And they were way better than us. We will all be on the Southern Cal cheer team for all you singers. Debi LA/Dallas

I love Phantom so much! I went to Toronto to watch it for my birthday in January and it was magical, I absolutely loved it. Now whenever I hear the music, I lose my breath and have to sit down. It just means so much to me. Thank you.

I could listen to you play all night long, love the Phantom and your music...and you 😉. You make playing the piano look so easy. I was self taught not using the correct fingers so I took lessons in college, I think the instructor gave up on me, lol. Love singing though and music...it soothes my soul 💕🎶.

Dear Mr Webber I had a go though I dont sing well at all and could not fit the words but I think my end bit is something else! Your music in the Phantom is out of this world and a gift to us. Thank you. We nearly saw the show years ago but couldnt go but might try to again if funds and virus allows. PS A relative works back stage at the Phantom in Korea from uk - wont write on here who but her family are proud of her.

Hi I'm a big fan. I've seen Phantom live at least 5 times in different countries. Love it! Also, really enjoyed the movie when I heard it on a plane in the Italian version (more legit singing). I'm also into opera, so the comment on Ambois Thomas' Hamlet resonated. It's a lovely opera. I've known bits of it since childhood. The great Titta Ruffo has several excerpts on RU-vid. And there are several other well known excerpts like duets and the soprano mad scene aria for Ophelia that that cadenza came from. The opera was given at the MET in NY a few years ago with Simon Keenlyside in the title role and Lisette Oropesa as Ophelia. It is probably available at Met Opera on Demand. (By the way, since he was French, the composer's name is pronounced To-MAH). 😆

i tried it too ... it was fun, and funny

How fun! I was able to sing it both solo and tenor..... Solo no one could hear me, and tenor twelve miles away from any other human so the solo was actually irrelevant. My singing skills are so "unique" there was no other way to do it. But ah, a cadenza on a flute is an entirely different matter!

It's my favorite song. I hard this and song. I wont see more and more.
