I recently got one of my top teeth filled. IT DIS NOT HURT ONE BIT! The only discomfort i do have to admit was having a sore mouth from keeping it open so long. I was under "laughing gas" and everything went great! I wish anyone else that is nervous about getting a filling luck! (Psssst! Its gonna be A OK)
I got one and after 5 shots it still hurt so bad that they couldn't get deep enough to completely fill it and I was on laughing gas. And I'm getting another one in 3 days and I'm scared as hell
Hey guys if you are worried about getting a filling, When they are starting the drill, tell them that they are not gonna say when they do it or you can ask them to count to three, when the drilling starts, be calm and relax, you are in good hands so dont worry about accidents, before they start the actual thing with the needle, ask them if you can listen to music during the procedure and teach them different symbols which means when they are doing each part of the procedure and if you listen to music, put on a very calming music so you dont feel discomort during the procedure
@BL OMEGALUL OW SEED don't worry, when you get a filling, it is done by a profesional dentist, not some unexperienced newbie. Trust me, they would never let any unprofesional dentist fill a tooth

After they have started the procedure, just don't think about that you are in the dentist's room and getting fillings- think about that you are in a completely different place and doing something fun and enjoying it, Good Luck To You, and don't forget, ask the dentist if you can listen to music in your airpods or headphones while they fill your teeth, i think that can keep anybody calm during a filling procedure
How long does the actual procedure last? I’m not scared of the needle or the drill as I’ve already experienced both before.I’m scarred of the time it will take.. I got two small ones in two different spots for context.
So I visit the dentist yesterday I apparently had six cavities, four on top and two on the bottom everything went great except when the dentist was done filling my teeth, she accidentally reshape on the top of my teeth. I don’t know if it’s normal or she wasn’t supposed to do that I’m confused??????
I had a Mercury filling in2021 in my upper right 6th tooth .But the dentist at that time didn't do it in detail ..should I go to re fill it . The dentist at that time told me that mercury filling would last more than the normal white filling. Is it true ?
Yes, it will last more than white but if not filled properly can lead to secondary decay process under filling that will not happen in composite white filling.
Hi Sir, mere teen daat mein composite filling karne koh kaha hai as kida lag gaye hai, aur 3 dant ke filling cost 6000 bataya hai in lucknow... sir kya itni cost ati hai? aur front teeth bhi half chipped hogaya toh bridge karne koh kaha hai as implant i cant afford, sir is bridge safe? plz 🙏 advice sir
Yes it contains mercury but when the amalgam mixture forms mercury acts as inert alloy so no harm. Still some countries banned the use of amalgum fillings.
I just got two cavities filled like 30 minutes ago. Don't worry, there isnt any pain. Before they give you the numbing shots, they'll put on numbing cream so the shots dont hurt, you just feel a little pressure. As for the filling, one tooth I felt nothing, and the other was a little sensitive. But it was the equilivent to the sensitivity of having cold water on a tooth. All and all, it's not bad.
It is honestly not bad. My tooth looks so natural, only thing is your mouth is sore from it being open so long and the needle obviously they put to numb you hurts. My cheek is a tad sore.
