I'm loving your enthusiasm! I just started prepping my 19th comp book journal. Thank you for sharing your books. THEY ARE FABULOUS! Don't you love having one book for everything! I bought a vintage composition book on eBay that someone filled with ephemera in the 1950s. I have to make a video and share it; it's really cool to see one that's so old. Sometimes I tear out some pages (10 or so) from the comp book before I start so I can finish it more quickly and move on to fill another one. :-)

I am also composition book obsessed!! I get so excited when I see others join in on the fun. Yay.

I am equally obsessed with B&W marble composition books, and I currently have an embarrassing number of blank ones on a shelf waiting to be filled, because I bought them in bulk a few months ago. Fun to see your comp book. There is just something special about comp books. I use them a lot and have a stack of blank ones at the ready. I, too, am addicted to them and love each of the artists you mentioned. They've all been super inspiring to me. You have lovely spreads of a mixture of things which make them visually appealing. I just found this playlist! I am so excited. I have been keeping journals / smash books in composition notebooks since I was in the 8th grade (I am 55 now and I have over 70 of them) I love composition notebooks for this. I am so glad to have found your channel. My phone, laptop and Kindle all have that cover and I recovered my bible so it had one too!

Yes!! I’m obsessive about handwriting! My mom passed away a year & a half ago & I LOVE having little snippets of her handwriting. My youngest daughter even got part of a Bible verse tattooed on her arm in mom’s handwriting.❤

Composition books for the win. Pacon Junior has half size books, I just bought some off Amazon. Never even crossed my mind to cut a regular one in half.

I just found this video today and I find it soooo inspirational!!! I love collage and magazine clippings and have a box collecting dust. This video inspired me to pull out a composition notebook and start gluing. So I'm watching it for a second time today ( while I create) because I love your attitude... and funny enough I grab a picture I cut out months ago and look up on your video to see the same picture!!! 16:58 the garden with the wood beds and arch, I have the exact picture cut out! Funny coincidence, thanks so much for putting your point of view out there :-)

22:55 I'm also uncomfortable sharing my journaling. You could journal on the spreads and then scotch tape these pages together and skip them so they are not showing on the screen. 😍Thank you for the video! It's exactly what I'm enjoying to do-art journaling in the composition notebooks, water coloring and collaging, and making motivational spreads! I hopr you will make more videos like that, I have subbed to you, will look for more videos on your channel like that

I have started a covid composition book.. I fill it up with some info from around the world and the weekly caricatures/cartoon from our local newspapers. I found those hilarious and they create a nice balance to all the data. I also added my favorite covid même. It's a silly book, but I love it! I also keep composition books to keep track of my sewing projects and crochet projects.

I love all your composition book videos, they inspired me to dig out an old comp book I had laying around and just collage in it. If you don't feel comfortable sharing certain pages, journal with chloe (another youtube channel I've been watching lol) usually puts a paperclip and/or post it notes to cover up those pages. I eventually want to share journal videos and that's what I plan to do in the future. Or maybe even put Washi tape down and peel it off after the flip through?

Years ago, I collected composition books during sale time at Staples. At the time, the paper made in Brazil was the best and I would hunt for the notebooks made in Brazil. I’m not sure which paper is best now, but it’s something to put attention to. The way the Brazil paper took watercolors & fountain pens was so yummy!

Love composition notebooks! I heard somewhere that the super Walmart’s have the half size in 10 packs.

I might have double the journals you have, but, I have learned to validate my Artistic expression and I don't have to apologize for it. It's one of my fun spaces. So, I encourage you to enjoy the process.

Great video, listen I love composition notebooks to. I found one on Amazon about 2 or 3 yrs ago by Amy Cesari. She is the author and artist of the book of shadows coloring books and tarot journals. Her composition notebook is awesome. I saw your drawing of the wheel of the year so that’s why I mentioning It. I think you would love it. Another brand of composition notebooks I use and love are Called The Decomposition notebooks and they are all made with recycled materials they are also on Amazon. There are so many awesome designs.they are a bit more pricey then our average composition notebooks but the way we use them they are worth it. I started following you. I just happen to find you today. Our journaling styles are very similar and I’m really looking forward to more of your videos.

I love all your videos, I had to watch again from the beginning. On the pages you paint or watercolor on…do you prep your pages at all? And do you glue to double the thickness of your pages or just use them as single layer pages?

Cut them in half? Orrrr buy them half size at Walmart super cheap. I think I paid $5 for 10 half comp books.
