Hii Ekta. This is so helpful. I've been getting a lot of smell and wetness in my compost but now I think that should be resolved. Just a suggestion. If you could increase your voice volume, it would be very helpful since it kinda gets dissolved into the background music. Hope you have a great day!
Make sure your container or pot has good water drainage to avoid the smell. Or you can make few holes at the bottom of the compost container and keep another container below to collect the water and water your plants with it.
Namaskar 🙏🏻, I am 15 and I love plants, trees since my childhood. I have 22+ plants. I find gardening easier after watching your videos..... Thanks for helping us, Lots of 💚🌻.

Thank you for your tips on composting my friend . I compost in a big plastic container outside and it has worked for me. I feel like I am helping the environment. So glad so many people want to compost. 👏👏👏🌴🌴🌴🌴
Hey ekta I really wanted to decorate my house with plants but for me doing it inside the house is very difficult can you please suggest some things or plants I should add to make my room look like nature
Hello ekta didi.... can you share tips on how to save dying rose,, causes of roses die, the ways which can be used in saving rise planta from dying...... plzz make on it... thank you!!
Thank you for the info. I have doubt about the container. Will plastic container react with the composting process and leach into the soil. Plz explain.
Thanks for the video. I am doing composting for last ten years and I do 2 stage composting, using Bokash. First process is pickling, which is done in a composting bin.Aftwr the bin is full, the contents shifted to another pot, plastic or earthen. My observation is the second part gives much foul smell in the first week of composting and it releases lots of foul smelling liquid. The total process takes about 3 months. I am not very convinced that using cocopeat or dry leaves can complete the composting in one stage only. Do you keep thi pot in open ?
Dear Ekta...kindly do a specific video on usage of bokashi powder because lately i am using bokashi but not getting desired results..and also let us know, can we use soil to absorb moisture???
I seriously need your help... I tried making compost. I used a terracotta pot, added soil, curd, and kitchen waste. And even after 3 months in Delhi ki garmi, it has not started decomposing. I do not understand what went wrong.....
When we purchase new plants or succulents they look very shinny and plastic like looking very good in condition.. But after some days of purchase they lost shine why?? Please suggest me how I can get their shinny leaves back..
Definitely agree with your statement that it's a lifestyle! I started worm farming two years ago and now produce hundreds of litres of vermicompost every year for my organic garden.
My philodendron and money plants new leaf are coming burnt!! What should I do?? Philodendron lemon lime is placed near the window and my few money plants are indoor (in water and in soil) and 2 pots are in east facing balcony. I give them water twice in a week. Is there anything I am doing wrong or should do please let me know!! #ask #question
Helpful as always👍 I have a few questions though... How can I know the pH level (approx) of my soil and compost without any fancy equipment? If the soil or compost becomes too acidic, how can I reverse that and balance it? If I allow the insects etc to hang around the bin and eat the stuff in it for too long, can it be bad for the compost? Can a compost get ruined by too many insects in the bin for too long?
Hai Sis i am watching your video regularly every thing you shared with us are very useful please your voice is very low in next Video please raise your voice so that we can hear you Clearly thank you 😊😊😊
🙏 Kya aap mujhe HDPE grow bags ke liye well drained potting soil banana sikha sakte ho . Main har cheez try kar chuka hun , lekin har baar water hours tak neeche drain nahin hota Please Help Me . I will be highly obliged 🙏🙏🙏
My compost looks black at the bottom and brown at top. Also some waste have not completely decomposed even if they are dry. It's my first time to so can you tell me whether it's composting well or not?
You have not mentioned anything about maggots or worms which is a concern when you compost in apartment.. I had started composting but when I saw the maggots I couldn't stand it and just threw away my hard work of 2 months
Maggot are common when the compost is wet. During rainy season especially, the moist compost tends to breed maggots. Try adding more dry leaves in your compost to reduce moisture. To solve the issue of existing maggots, just let them be. They ultimately speed up the process (but can be too much 😅). If they’re coming out of the bin, just place a plate underneath to collect them.
@@manasibangera7027 @gardenup I use compost bins but I find the compost wet n I am can't find any liquid to drain.....whybdpes this happen and how tonfix it? In my 1st batch I could drain the leach although my compost was a little wet but I went ahead and used it fornmaking potting soil! Why
