Comps are the way of gambling, its a return the casino does in order to keep players happy and returning. It can be comp points, for rooms or show tickets, free play, resort credit. In this video, I will discuss how comps work and how they are calculated.
Part 1 : How comps work
(Total Wager) X (Casino Advantage) = Expected Theoretical Loss
This is the formula used to calculate comps and what the casino expects to gain from players.

Usually you have to pay the taxes and fees but just make sure to look at the price of the cruise and what those taxes and fees you pay would be and go from there if you want to go

Is coin in/out mean you take out and put like every 10 dollars? I like to go to casino but I never can increase my tier pts smh

This is probably a repeat question but whats the ideal amount to spend to get high status? I know its about coin in/out. However can you do well with a bankroll of $500/1000 and know which games to play. Thanks for any advice

There is no ideal amount , as it’s cumulative coin in, if you had $100 and every time you hit 5 credits left it gave you a $100 hit , you could get to platinum on $100 but that’s very very unlikely. Also the goal should not be status but being consistent in your play and trips. The offers will come but it may take some time.

I’m a new member to the Caesar’s reward program even signed up for there credit card, my comps went down even though we frequent more than before why is that? Do we need to stay away so this way they can miss us 😂

What’s your MGM status and how much FREEPLAY do you get per visit on the average? Will you get more FREEPLAY if you don’t ask for other stuff - ie airport transportation, resort credit, suite vs regular room? I’ve been asking for airport transportation, suite, resort credit, and FREEPLAY. Last offer was $500 in FREEPLAY. If I didn’t ask for all of that, would FREEPLAY amount increase? Also, we tend to play the slots for about 10 hours per day when we are there. Also, we’ve been averaging twice a month visits. Does that frequency hurt or help FREEPLAY. I imagine our visits will decrease soon due to busier schedules. Just want to max that FREEPLAY.

Gold right now, just missed platinum renewal , but gonna try some things to see if i can close the gold silver gap. my free play varies a lot but usually between $200-500 and resort credit about the same. The limo to and from the airport is awesome but with tip it’s about the same as an uber. To me , room comps and food are the gold.

Not really it’s based on play, perks increase but focus on play and coin in over tier level.

@@GambleTheGlobe I noticed there is the cruise offer, and 200 more in food and beverage. But since we are already get free room and food, it doesn’t seem to me that there is a huge advantage from platinum over gold. Hoping there may be more I’m unaware of. Will probably be at platinum fairly soon.

@@1967Camaro you are correct and you only get the perks on spend , so if you got 200k for platinum then you get the flight and other perks.

I seen your video when you were playing the $5.00 Denom magnificent 7's coin fed $15.00 machines. I play at circus circus all the time. I like playing the $1.00 Denom/$3.00 machines. Is there anywhere else in Vegas that has those $1.00 Denom coin fed machines besides circus circus and El Cortez?

Last time i was there , a staff at El Cortez said they removed them. Do they have them and they actually didn’t know? the internet is full of rumors there are coins at the D and california but i have not been able to confirm.

Hi Dave. Hope you are having fun. I had a comp Question. A couple weeks ago we we to the casino, I put in way more then my wife. We get our mailers today and I got $60 in free play, she got $300! What do you think is the case there? Let me know if you need more info to determine this.
