Yeah it’s good. Kinda pricey though. About $115

@@VWBrennidon yeah for sure. The upgrade is worth it. Honestly, I never adjust my points anyways. Don’t drive that much but when I do get this bus driving I will be putting miles on it and I like the security and comfort knowing my bus will start as soon as I turn the key.

It should work on any VW aircooled distributor. A 009 distributor will look just like mine in the video. Biggest clue to check is if it is missing the vacuum advance piece. The other way to check for sure is to look at the number stamped on the distributor and it will have the number 009. Stock engines do not come with 009. Most people remove them but I don’t recommend that. Keep the stock one if you have it but you can still install an electronic ignition like I did and car will run better.
