Computational Thinking - Introduction to Course 

Bro keep doing that as licking and we will never be able to make processors ourselves and only import them from China and USA etc. Well now we know why Indian universities are considered lowest level among world's top universities, its because the teachers in these universities are teaching like someone just died in their family or sth like that happened. They don't have energy to teach and the looks on their faces are like 12'o clock. Neither they do practicals nor they do anything. They just break chairs in front of cameras with green screen. That's why students are not excited while studying with them. IITM please do take a look on this matter, if you want to be of any value worldwide.

Wait for week 9 and then you will understand how difficult it is to learn DSA without even knowing real coding like python,c++,java,etc.

Yes, do consider because the qualifier process is designed for the candidates to see if this is the right thing for them. You have 4 weeks of contents with assignments and final test. I'd say that's a pretty fair way of admitting people in and really check if the candidate has the will and passion to learn. If you really love data science you should definitely give this a try. @@Malayneribased that's a very good question but I really have no idea about that too. I'm from Mech E background which is a different domain too. Currently I have no idea of how this is going to help me in my career but I'm considering doing this out of interest in programming and to upskill myself. Sorry for taking a vague stance for your question

Think about me, I'm an Archaeologist and still opting this course. But I will be sure that as time and course escalates, the amount of time you need to dedicate would be immense. Like about 40+ Hrs a week. So you gotta balance your acts.

Some of the areas where data science can be used 1) Investment and Portfolio Management 2) Auditing/Forensic Accounting/Internal Controls and Fraud detection 3) Credit Appraisals using data science 4) Legal documentation analytics 5) Valuation 6) Financial Trading 7) the list is endless
