Did not know about the sickle and obsidian gets raw ash.... Thanks for that tip. Also I swear you had to have a Improved planter for the flowers. Maybe it was like that and now it's changed. That is also good news as I keep running out of knowledge points. (I am sure there will be an episode were we cover fragments of power and how you can use them to increase your knowledge points once you are at level 60.) Thanks for the videos!
I've been meaning to comment on one of your videos ever since stumbling over this channel. I absolutely love your videos, each one has become a weekly treat. Having just started playing Exiles this summer your videos have been a tremendous help and not just solid entertainment. I've not seen any Jedi Survivor yet but I bet I will once I run out off Conan content. Wish I could catch your streams but two small kids force me to watch them retroactivly. Since the new chapter I've found 57 grey lotus powder and 34 grey lotus seeds and 29 grey lotus flowers in the un named city. They really changed the drops. Great video as usual and looking forward to your chapter 2 guides.

Good Tutorial Angaar, something I do, normally have 2 stables, just leave a horse in each and keep it topped up with fibre and they produce a ton of Dung.

Great video as always Angaar. Highlights of chapter 2 for me on console so far have been i can see elephants and rhinos again(yay no more surprise deaths from the rhino king) better loot in all the camps and lots more treasure. Con every time i trigger the lvl 10 purge i get half way through and my xbox goes back to the home screen. But i will get that video eventually lol.
I keep a base between Stargazer's Rest and Skyfall Ridge. So when I want obsidian or raw ash, I go along Skyfall to the volcano and then go across to one of the obsidian locations outside the hot zone. Gives me pretty quick access without passing any of the aggro stuff, except for the occasional mountain goat.
The Rocknose King by Fingerfang Rock drops raw ash every time. Close to your base too. Ok, checked again after chapter 2. It drops junk now. Killed it 4 times and nothing even worth walking over there for. But I did alittle farming of the skellies outside the warmaker dungeon, frost Grey purple black lotus seeds,powder and flowers by the bucket load. This new loot system seems nuts so far. Going to have to do some more checking. By the way anyone else having problems dismantling the hardened steel junk off the three skull bosses. The drops don't seem worth the trouble either. Except the keys.
Well the Dregs has changed dramatically. And all the chest and NPC loot has changed, I think for the better. And there's no automatic purge anymore... I'm sure everyone knows all this already, but it definitely changes how I play the game. The Dregs used to be easier. Now you need to be better prepared, like: healing pots and spare materials to repair your weapons. So I think maybe an updated Dregs video would be both fun and helpful. Spoiler-ish: At the end after killing the Abysmal, there is a chain that can be climbed to find more loot. Your character must be speced with Agility: Quickfooted. That makes it possible to jump onto the chain. EndSpoiler
Also, Truncheons do damage again, at least for me. And if you didn't plan ahead and spec into Authority then your choices are limited. 1. Respecing is only available at level 28 when you can unlock the Fluid Press, unless you are lucky and find human blood. Not sure if you can harvest it with a Pick. 2. Go to the unnamed city and fight Skellies hoping for a steel truncheon to drop. 3. Go to Sepermeru and solo Szeth for his truncheon. 4. Go to and search the Dregs... In two separate game starts, I have found an Iron Truncheon (T2) *and* a Simple Blunted Weapon Fitting.
The wiki says that also minus the percentages but the thing is when I open the crafting recipes in the wiki, the timers are the same for grey lotus for all 3 of the planters. It is possible that they changed how they work! I never tested this tho so I'm not 100% sure!
Really? Wiki lists a Frost Lotus seed will take 24 mins to grow in both Crude and Improved Planter. Increase is certainly possible as I have never timed it. 👍
they might of change it, when sorcery started the planters had a small timer increase the better the planter the better small increase it went form 30 min to 27 mins on the improved planter lol wounder if they did change that for war thou.@@bullwyrk
From what I understand, the game is broken on Playstation. And it didn't look good on Xbox either the last time I loaded into the game. Had to Uninstall the game and then reinstall. Haven't had a chance to see if it fixed the game
@MyMonkey1973 ok ..... there is a RU-vidr that had problems he was showing in his video. I have the Xbox one, and you could literally run to the edge of the map.
